Read everything in the Launch Pad! So much information there to help anyone at any level!!

Be ready for carb withdrawals! They are a real addiction for the body and take a little time to adjust to not having them! Once you’ve made it past that it becomes so much easier!

But definitely read everything you can! This is a whole new way of looking at food from everything we’ve been taught through the years! Is a complete 180 degree change from everything you’ve believed! As long as you hang in there you will realize the benefits and that we’ve been taught all wrong!

Buy a blood ketone monitor. It's the only way to truly know you have converted your metabolism into a fat burning one. l6g9uwad18gk.jpg

Are you interested in low carb or is your interest (also low carb) ketogenic?

Either way my advice is be patient and don't quit. Is your diet for weight loss, diabetes, epilepsy, migraines, etc?

Play the long game more than anything and understand there are potholes on the road to health. When you fall in one, learn from it, dust yourself off and get back at it as soon as possible. Understand that you are going to have a lot of 0.3, 0.7, 0.5 type losses along with lots and lots of stalls and even some gains here and there. Over a year it adds up to a pretty big number. I'm a big believer in utilizing Dexascans, RMR and Fit3D data for a better overall view of what the true weight is on my body.

Low carb is a great WOE overall but if you want another level of progress I'd suggest strict keto for 2 to 3 months to become fat adapted which allows for efficient use of carbs then just go low carb after that.

Do not ignore the vitamins and minerals. They are just as critical in your health.
