I'm seeing a nutritionist; what should I expect?

When the "Menopause 10" turned into the "Menopause 20", I decided to take action and made myself an appointment.

It's an hour long appointment. They didn't say to bring a food diary or anything ... any ideas what I should expect?

Thanks.

I would bring your food diary or at least a representation of your meal plan. Also, if you take medications and/or supplements, they should know that too. If you have blood work or lab results, this will also be helpful. In addition, if you have allergies, specifically food allergies, they need to know that.

Basically, they are going to ask questions about your overall lifestyle - exercise, diet plan, etc. Your first appointment is typically a getting to know you session so don't be surprised to not get answers or a meal plan right then and there. After getting to know you, then they will have the information needed to start creating an eating plan based on your specific needs, health, food preferences, etc.
