1. WEIGH AND MEASURE ALL FOODS - make sure you use a food scale, measuring cups, measuring spoons to know how much food you are consuming
2. ELIMNATE ADDED SUGARS - make sure you read the ingredients!!!! pay attention to the hidden sugars that are listed in your packet - eliminating added sugar is probably one of the MOST IMPORTANT steps
3. ELIMINATE PROCESSED FOODS - if it comes in a package don't eat it....no white rice, no bread (unless it is one of the brands listed in your packet), no pasta, no TV dinners, no cereal, etc
4. ADD A PRIMARY PROTEIN TO EACH MEAL - there are NO SNACKS - a snack is a meal....primary protein sources are listed in your packet
