Weigh in day: Sunday
Journey starting weight: 332lbs
February starting weight: 324lbs
March starting weight: 314.2lbs
April starting weight: 299.6lbs
May starting weight: 290.8
Last week's weight: 288lbs
Current weight: 284.4lbs
I'm happy with this number but am questioning it as I did not make good food choices this week. I think my poor choices just haven't caught up to the scale yet. I will jump back on the bandwagon today and hope to see a good number next week too.
However, on a more positive note I recently took a picture where I am wearing the exact same outfit that I did in late February for a picture. The difference is really noticeable even if I can't tell on a day to day basis. If I knew how to post it, I would.
@Jl20alon2564, first off, congratulations on losing three and a half pounds!! It could be that your poor choices haven't shown up on the scales yet. In which case, try to get yourself back on the bandwagon as soon as possible to head the extra pounds off at the pass!!
Secondly, congratulations on your photo NSV!! The changes are not visible daily, but over a three month period....definitely! I hope this inspires you to keep going so you can take another three month photo come August!!4 -

Sorry guys, this mastitis has done me in. I’m on antibiotics and will have a better week next week!
@susanpiper57, don't apologize for being under the weather! You just do what you need to get feeling better....the weight loss can wait a bit!!2 -

@swauters, that is fantastic, Sara!! They say when training for a distance you should sign up for a race to give yourself a goal and a timeline....it would appear you did just that!!3 -

Did you get my PM?
No, I did not. This brings up a good point.....
If we are not already "friends" on MFP, of if we haven't messaged each other to "complete the loop" I will not receive any PM's sent my way.
@countrycreek, I will message you to "complete the loop".1 -
@HASWLRS
I am spending the day with family having a BBQ. If you don't mind I'd like to wait until Wednesday to weigh in. Thanks!
@brandi_84, absolutely, Brandi! And this goes for anyone else celebrating Memorial Day today....you may wait a couple days to weigh-in if your weigh-in day is early in the week!!1 -

Weigh in day 166.4.
Slowly heading in the right direction.
Diet was just OK this week.
Exervise was pretty good - won bronze for sparring in my tournament and my very scary and usually not complimentary coach told me I'm his favourite to watch at the moment because I've come so far over the last 4 years. Meant a huuuge amount to me. Went out running today and quite enjoyed it so going to aim to be off the treadmill and onto local paths now the weather is a bit better.

@lozenger1984, congratulations on your bronze medal and on the affirmation from your coach that you are doing some great things and making some wonderful progress! A fabulous NSV!!!
I agree...it is much more enjoyable to run outside!2 -

5/27/2019 Mini Challenge
Tracked: Yes
Under: Yes
Exercise: Yes, 20 minutes walking
I was feeling a little down this morning because of my arm(such a silly thing holding me back). Throughout the day, though, I was putting more thought into resting could just be what I need to get things going again. And then I realized:
Today is my 6month mark for my weight loss journey. I am down ALMOST 30 pounds, and the work is paying off. I feel better each day. I make better choices to keep myself full, but under my calories and accountable each day. I have made small changes that I know won't be just momentary, and I will get right back on my elliptical and my workout routine once my arm feels better. I know what I want to do and what I want to achieve. No matter what I end up doing, I've got this!
I don't have a 6mo total progress pic, as I only want to use pictures showing the same outfit(and I've misplaced my usual progress pic shirt to the laundry demons who have lost it somewhere), so this picture in the spoiler is my progress from January to now. Slow progress is still good progress!
