@angmarie28 Congrats on the unassisted pull up. That is a huge NSV.

@kmfeig87 I have done strong lifts in the past, and P90x so Ive kind of made my own workout based on those. but pull ups, I do legs and back on the same day, I do lateral pull downs on a cable machine, I also have been doing assisted pull ups, first with my foot on a chair, then I bought a pull up bad, not a super heavy duty one, but the second or 3rd from the lightest, and have been doing pull ups with that. Also reverse pull ups, Ive been close for awhile now, Its always the first thing I try on leg/back dat before I weaken myself with other lifts.0

Hmmm. Haven't really lost much in the past two months. I would be frustrated, except that I haven't really stayed on track to lose. On the other hand, I have now been below my weight watchers lifetime goal (set 11 years ago) for two months. I'm not sure that I managed that when I first hit it! Other NSV's:
1. Can squat below 90 degrees (almost to butt on the ground!)
2. Can walk the big hills in the neighborhood without slowing down (much) and maintain a 15.25 minute mile even on the super hilly walk!
3. Can keep up with the young kids in zumba
4. Can wear a size 6 pair of jeans

Welcome back @pizzafruit!0

I'm always amazed and impressed by those who record steps in the thousands. How is that accomplished, how far does one walk? How long does it take to build to 5000 steps or greater?1
-
5/16 - 9894 steps
@pizzafruit I play games with myself. I walk each towel individually to the cabinet. I walk each item of laundry to it's individual drawer. During commercials I walk around my house. When I'm playing with my pups outside I just keep moving. Every little step adds up.4 -
@pizzafruit I park about a kilometer from my work, so I get in about 1000 steps in just walking to work, and of course another 1000 walking to car after work. I usually go for a walk at lunch time and try to keep moving after work instead of sitting down watching tv.3

bsgraham10 will have a late weigh in. He is offshore and will be back late tonight or in the morning. He will report them. Thanks2 -
@pizzafruit as a school CNA on a huge campus, I tend to get 5000 to 6000 steps just walking at work, then i workout on my lunch break in the school workout room, and if Im doing cardio I get about 3000 more steps there, then home to cook and do dishes ect I get another 1000 or so. some days I work my 2nd job which is a CNA job and I get 3-4000 steps there on a short shift. then I have some days at work, like this past tuesday, where we have screenings for small kiddos who we walk to and from there class rooms, so I get about 10,000+ steps just at work on those days.2

2 days of offshore fishing in rough seas and fighting a 500 lb bluefin tuna for 4 hours is apparently a good way to lose weight. Hopefully this is the last time I ever see the 250s on my scale.7 -
@Slinky_BraveHeartBunsOfSteel @Fattleass @twitch82 and @upsaluki I didn't see a weight posting from you this week. Please reply today to avoid an NWI. Steppers, please catch me up on your steps and let's keep our chart looking FABULOUS!!! I hit a 10k day yesterday! I was so proud of myself, but I'm feeling the sluggishness a bit today! Gotta go walk the grocery store aisles later today!
OK, let's see who's paying attention...post your favorite fruit or veggie that starts with the letter "S or L"!! GO!2 -

Week 2
Saturday
Previous weight: 195
Current weight: 197.6
Not too surprised on this as I feel super bloated. I’m on day 2 back from my quick trip to Europe for work. Two days of sitting on a plane and a few days of eating out definitely have contributed. I’m hopeful that it will go down again next week.
This weekend I’m moving house! Next time I post it all be from the new place.
Have a great weekend everyone.2 -

Favorite S & L Vegetables:
Spaghetti squash, baked, stuffed with meat and topped with cheese
Spinach salad with pecans and goat cheese
Lentils? Do they count as a veggie? (Cause lima beans are a definite no-go for me!)2
