F2F-WLC CHALLENGES:
- - WEEKLY GROUP CHALLENGE (Challenges hosted by teams for the entire group)
- - MODERATOR'S CHALLENGE (Challenges hosted by the moderators of the group)
- - INDIVIDUAL CHALLENGES (Challenges within teams themselves)
Team Weekly challenges will be announced in later communications
(Note:The team order for challenges follows the team order in the group standing sheet on the spreadsheets)
HOW OUR CHALLENGES WORK:
We have 4 total possible challenges and NONE are mandatory. Our challengers can do none or all it's up to them. So we have...
The F2F Weekly TEAM Challenge - posted each week on Sunday in the announcements by the team who is assigned that particular week (see above for your week). This is for the F2F Group as a whole.
F2F Moderators Challenge/Topic of the week - This challenge is provided each week in the announcements area. One of the moderators will either provide a challenge that will involve anything fitness, health, and nutrition.
Individual Team challenges - these are challenge done within your own team. You can chose daily, weekly, or monthly challenges (weekly seems to work best). You can make this whatever you wish as long as it's health and fitness related.
Note: If for some reason your team is unable to provide the weekly challenge please let me know ahead of time so another team can take your place or so I can provide the challenge.
Good Luck Teams: Please let us know if there is anything wrong or if you notice something that needs to be fixed or modified. Everything seems ready to go for APRIL. Registrations are almost done and we have quite a few new challengers. Make sure you are going into your new team threads to welcome anyone who has started posting. Let’s make our newbies feel welcome and show them some F2F love!!
THANKS, YOUR MODS

This past week I started to log my meals. Given I didn't log the 6-12 pieces of chocolates I had, that is still about 150cal not counted. My goal was 1500cals (±100), mainly keto meals, but overall I'm going more for a low carb. <50g of carbs. With having only keto meals, like proscuitto salad, berries and cream, and fathead dough pizza it has worked pretty good. I've upped my water, drinking a good 6-8 cups per day (from 1-2 cups per day). Despite that the weight hasn't really changed.
I will this week lower the calories to 1400 (±100). See if that is doing anything.3 -

Welcome to May. May is always a busy month. Schools wrap up, lots of parties, moves, new jobs. In my case, oral surgery coming up (tooth implant). My son graduates from HS (#2 of 3 boys)--I hope. This one is not particularly interested in school so he will squeek by (I hope ). I'll be down to one boy at home next year so the pool of suspects for broken and missing stuff has shrunk considerably.
We had a rough April, lots of us went in the wrong direction for our monthly total. No matter, if you learn one thing at MFP please learn to keep hitting the reset button. You have to keep getting back on the wagon. Gaining a few pounds is manageable, if you gain 20 it starts to be a problem, right? Revisit what you are doing, make some adjustments, up your exercise in some way, stop buying that one food item you can't resist. I stopped buying greek yogurt and I think it is helping. Only four weeks in this May cycle, let's set a team goal that everyone finishes May with a net loss.4 -

I love greek yogurt, I eat light and fit greek yogurt, only 80 calories. Chips is my food, I love chips, but ill eat an entire bag, so I avoid them1 -
Ugh I am so miserable, I have gastric intestinal issues that flared up saturday, and ever since I have had such a bad side ache. Trying to only eat foods that are easy on my guts today, but its teacher/nurse appriciation week, so the goodies will be flowing in. today is bagels and cream cheese, still debating if I want to try that or not. Im so bloated and up 2.5lbs today, hopefully is drops by wednesday.4

I picked up 11p friday to 7a saturdat and 3p to 11p saturday at my second job so I got a ton of steps, but then I was exhausted sunday plus had this terrible sideache, so then I was lacking on my steps.0 -

Sweets of any kind is my Achilles heel. I'm going to cut back considerably. Last week was bad because we had surveyors at work, so this week should be loads better. I'm also thinking of trying Whole30.2 -
CAPTAINS AND TEAM CHALLENGERS LISELYN IS GOING TO MAKE A WORK AROUND FOR THIS WEEK ONLY ON THE STEP SPREAD SHEET TO INCLUDE WATER FOR THE WEEK. IT WILL AUTOMATICALLY ADD THE TOTALS EACH DAY.
I JUST DIDN'T THINK THIS THROUGH WELL ENOUGH SORRY FOR ALL OF THE CONFUSION...FRUSTRATION....AND BEING A GENERAL PIA .
WATCH FOR THE WORK AROUND ON YOUR SPREAD SHEETS SOMETIME TODAY

Looking at the steps chart from April it seems @kmfeig87 walked about 189 miles in April (425k steps). I'm considering an Amber Alert to find her.3

Weekend post #2:
I look forward to the day when I can have step readings like @Fattleass and @kmfeig87 ! Gotta get this food thing tackled and get back below 300 and then fly down to the 250 area...then I'll really get moving!!! Wish there was a magic potion for that...great job guys!2 -
Weekend post #3:
Forgot to mention...I've decided I'm calling Cinco De Mayo Cinco De NO NO! Trying to not go out for Mexican food this week!3 -
Weekend post #4:
Hi All:
I'm Jessica, one of the Captains for the Trimstones Team. I started in this group about 18 months ago...lost 82 pounds, with about six months off due to emergency surgery/recovery. Got a little lazy over the past two months and let 8 pounds creep back on me. I just can't seem to stay motivated. My problem is stress eating...and making food my entertainment...every meal an event...love to eat out. It's my Krypton. So I'm getting my head back on straight and trying to get back to being "religious" about the lifestyle. Haven't slowed down on my activity or water consumption...that's going well. Just got finished with a week's vacation and get back to work last week, so it was a little crazy. Ate out a few times, but didn't completely lose control, except for one meal. IT'S SO HARD!!!! UGH! Skinny people drive me insane! LOL OK, I'll stop whining now. Hope everyone is having a super Saturday! JK2 -
Hi Jessica yeah I got some great steps over the month but I just can't seem to get away from those food my deficits been crappy and I'm not losing any weight but I'm not gaining any just wish I could get this under control hope you're having a good week thanks for all your support Charles2
