Just finished getting a post implant for my missing tooth extracted in November. The extraction was traumatic and I gave the oral surgeon endless crap for it. Prior to this morning's procedure I was telling him he needs to see Marathon Man to understand the role of the Nazi dentist (Sir Laurence Oliver), he has not ever seen this old movie. The implant was actually almost pain free--just the shots hurt a little, felt nothing afterward. He asked if I no longer thought of him as a Nazi torture dentist and I told him yes, he had redeemed himself. I do hate to call people Nazis on Yelp if I can help it >:)

Oral surgery is another technique for staying in your calorie budget for a day or two, hopefully I can get back on track now.

I decided to start strong lifts 5x5 again to work on my gains, but switching it aroung some since i split my workout days by upped body, and legs+back days, So I decided that if I dont have much time, I have to at least to the strong lifts parts of the workout and skip the rest, so basically I do upper of Bench press, Overhead press, and barbell rows for the stronglifts program, then I add moves rotating through shoulders, biceps, triceps, and chest, then Leg day I do Squats and deadlifts for stronglifts, then add legs and back workouts to that, but if im short on time, I only do the stronglift moves. so far it seems to be working well. I did just the squats and deadlifts yesterday, and surprisingly Im quite sore, lol.

I second that. Had wisdom teeth pulled yesterday, soft foods for a few days.

I'm eating a lot again this week. I hope I can stop this trend.

    CAPTAINS AND TEAM MEMBERS!

There has been a bad link posted where you can go to look at the MAY Spreadsheets. I just corrected it (I hope!) so all the information should now be visible.

For more details, captains please check the Captain's Lounge thread for my last message. The link is there, and if there are ANY problems, please leave a message there ASAP.

I'm sorry for the problem - I'm not sure where the bad link came from or how it got there, but it should be ok now!

I will hit 10,000 steps today, and will get a great workout in, I am still bloated from my intestinal flare up, but my side ache is subsiding finally so I will be hitting the gym after school before I leave and again when I get home since Im not cooking tonight because our local dominos is doing a fundraiser for my friends boy that passed away.

Also I plan on being very stricked the next 5 weeks, my husband is gone for the next 5 weeks so Im using that as motivation to lost some weight before hes back :)

The previous spreadsheet that had been started was changed to include water...if you were one of the May walkers, please post all of your steps and water consumption (ounces) from 5/4 to present. Thanks!

I reached my goal weight with F2F 2 weeks ago...which is very exciting! I lost weight in the fall but then over Christmas and in January I was struggling until I was fortunate enough to discover this group and was able to lose the remainder of my total 50 pound loss. 😁

Please remove me from the May list. Good luck all!!

What is all you moms on here's plans for mothers day? Tomorrow I am doing the mothers day womens run, except this year my mom wants to do it too. I usually run the 5 mile, but to do it with my mom I decided to drop down to walking the 2 mile. this is driving me a little nuts and actually almost signed up for the 5mile also because it starts an hour earlier, then was going to run that then walk the 2 mile with my mom, but I decided I didnt need to be crazy, haha. We are also having a bon fire with my kiddos. This is all saturday, I actually dont have plans for sunday except its going to be 82 degrees our so I will be outside, lol
