1. Very low calorie diet, usually below 500 kcal/day.

    LC got me off meds and my A1C is in the normal range. I can speak to the option 3.

    I have tried very low carb. I can do it about 3 days and I have no energy, get massive headaches and lose the will to live. And I've been like this since FOREVER, long before I was diagnosed with T2D.

    Everything he said made sense to me so I did a ton of research. I have now tried out his process for 2 weeks and I feel so much better in just a short period of time. He has several books out. It's worth a look.

    Maybe try not as low as you were doing? Like, how many grams of carbs per meal or per day were you consuming? Did you go cold-turkey or gradually reduce them?
