Yesterday, my law firm was host to about 36 people at a professional baseball game in Chicago. In the pre-UAC-past, I would have just declared yesterday a 'eat everything day". After all, we were the hosts and the food and drink was excellent. In addition, as host, it's my job to make everyone feel comfortable.
But...
Next to my home PC, I have printed the mantras of @MadisonMolly2017. Whenever I was tempted to eat the junk food, I thought of Maddie's thoughtful reminders:
"My body is too precious and expensive to put into it just any type of fuel....Nobody over fuels their expensive cars, therefore, I will not overeat and then suffer the consequences of getting sick; feeling guilty..."
Thanks @MadisonMolly2017
You are the guru on the cloud.
Now, to all of the UAC team members...be thoughtful out there!!

Exercise: Yes, 60 minute walk
Calories: Yes, better than the last 2 days
Tracked: Yes
extra sleepy & exhausted today, i like drinking sometimes but it messes up my sleep and while I dont get very hung over it just drains all my energy, I thought I was gonna pass out in the middle of my walk and pretty much "died" once I laid back down in bed.
yesterday was a special day for me and my family so we celebrated with lots of homemade food and a lil alcohol between me and my grandmother, and while i really enjoyed yesterday i also went waaaay too far with the binge eating. my body is my temple so there's no reason to gorge on indulgences to the point of pain. it's my goal by the holidays that i won't be binging or eating tons of sweets every single day or treating every other day like it's some big celebration that deserves a feast. birthday season is finally over this month so no more cake for a while!!!!!
i'm bloated & probably gained a couple pounds over the days but i'm back on track and i'm ending the day early cuz after having some homemade cheesecake for dinner and eating some fresh nutritious vietnamese food for breakfast, i'm stuuuffed. but i'm no longer not gonna dwell in any food guilt, just keep moving forward and like nothing happened, all's back to normal. gonna crush it this month and make it to the winner's circle!!!
what a great mantra @MadisonMolly2017, it certainly makes a difference when you keep that kind of mindset7 -

Did I exercise for at least 20 minutes? Yes, 90 minutes outside walk, 30 minutes low impact aerobics and 20 minutes vacuuming and washing floor on hands and knees
Did I stay within my calorie budget for the day? Intentions were good and lots of exercise today, but more calories than the exercise could compensate for. Last homemade strawberry rhubarb pie for the season. Hopefully, the rest of the months will result in a solid finish. This makes 3 pass days for me.
Did I keep track of everything I ate and drank? Yes5 -

Went to a dance recital, and then a pool party/BBQ afterwards. Didn’t let the BBQ be an excuse to go wild with eating. I left a fair bit of flex in the day to accommodate, and ate sensibly and am pleased with how the day went. Will try to keep this mindset while on vacation.
@BonnieHosk85, hope your leg feels better ASAP!
@w8goal4life, that pie sounds delicious!6 -

Yes x 3 for Saturday
Morning dog walk, and three hours of gardening. Didn't over do it at dinner, only had one beer during game night. That's a win for me!4 -
3 X’s Yes!
One hour kickboxing. Waaaaayyyy too under on calories. As usual when I’m super busy I don’t eat.
I bartend at weddings almost every Saturday, I love it. It’s physically very demanding as everything is carried in and carried out plus just being on my feet for hours and throw in lots of dance moves!
This also means that every Saturday I’m offered a staff meal complete with cake. The type of meal that is worth a cheat day but every Saturday I pass on the meal.
Instead I keep moving and dancing!6 -
Yes to all
Lalabank that is a huge amount of self discipline2 -

Hi there I'm back after a few pass days of mindless eating. today I have been mindful of my eating, tracked it and have done well 3xyes for today. still trying to get in a good routine. I had lots of encouragement when I started with some set meals and today I pre logged those meals which was a tip I picked up from previous thread - I pre logged to just under calorie limit and didn't eat it all. I have copied the meals across to tomorrow ready which is anothet new thing for me so - feel like it must be about having a good routine so it becomes mostly automatic with the occasional exception- I'm sure I'm learning slowly. hope eveeyone is well x5

Playing catchup from a weekend of family in town:
Did I exercise for at least 20 minutes? Yes - so much active time with the kids and family.
Did I stay within my calorie budget for the day? Doubt it - but it wasn't an indulgent day, just no logging.
Did I keep track of everything I ate and drank? Nope
I think this is the 4th pass day - so I'm out this month. That's ok for me. I am learning how to deal with my stress without the comfort of carbohydrate loaded foods.3
