Reading everyone’s NSVs this morning was a pleasure. Being stronger and having more stamina for whatever physical activity or task I am doing has been an almost daily NSV for me. Losing weight (55 pounds’ over the last few years) and exercising of some kind on most days has made such a difference!6 -

5th Pass Day
Exercise? Yes
Calories? Probably not, but I don't think too bad
Tracked? No, got to the bar-b-q and decided to not think about it and just enjoy.
Wish I had time to read all the NSV's. They are always so motivating!
I am getting to where I am starting to see a difference with my NSV's. I am feeling it in my body, posture, flexibility and endurance. May not be much and I probably couldn't keep up with you, but I am better then I was when I started last month and much better then February.2 -
NSV - after some initial ups and downs after reaching goal in January, it seems that I have found the key to on-going consistency in maintenance. Feels really good to have achieved a new normal and to not be so hyper-focused with this area of my life.
@jan110144 I do hope that I can do the same! I’m at almost 8 weeks.hansep0012 wrote: »My friends I have been having the most amazing week at Lake Tahoe with my family. All days were YES x3!
@hansep0012 We’re about to head up there! Is there anything you feel we should absolutely do?!0 -
It's so wonderful to read all your NSVs. They are inspiring and motivational. Mine NSV is being able to take care of myself when I am not well.

@MadisonMolly2017 I would recommend the following things to do at Lake Tahoe:
Rent a bike in Tahoe City and do the six mile ride along the Truckee River, in addition to being very scenic and well-maintained it is appropriate for all fitness levels (including children). I think the cost for two hours was $12 plus a charge for a helmet (wear a helmet!). They also rented "chariots" to tow small children / dogs.
Hike to the Vikinsholm (Viking House) at Emerald Bay (South Shore). There are two different hikes, one is a steep .75 mile (one way) and the other a more gentle 1.5 miles (one way) with a view of the bay, eagles, etc. with access through a campground. Last year I was not fit enough for either hike, this year I did the 1.5 miles with a 400' elevation change. There is a fee to see the house ($15 adult), but it offers both a guide and free range time to explore this unique historic site.
Donner Museum is a small but well-done CA State Park and has free admission. The parking fee you pay is good not only at the museum but the whole day for any CA State Park. It is an interactive museum which my grandchildren found entertaining and the short video was informative and well crafted, worth seeing.
Finally, consider going to Donner Lake City Park for an afternoon of water play. Although there is a small entrance fee there are lifeguards, paddle boat rentals, kayak rentals, shade, grass, sand, restrooms and concessions.
Wear sunscreen, drink water, have a hat and sunglasses because the elevation at 6,000' is deceptive.
HAVE A BLAST!!!!!1 -
