This chat room provides a place for the CHALLENGERS to meet and chat about the challenge, discuss any issues, post comments, share ideas, etc...

Captain’s responsibilities include:
* Entering weights for your team into the spreadsheet.
* Be active in team discussions, encouraging and supporting the challengers as they post.
* Encourage challengers to participate in challenges and in group discussions.
* Post daily / weekly challenges and topics to promote team involvement and help keep the team engaged.
* Participate in team discussions encouraging team participation.
* Help remind challengers when they are due to post (and especially when overdue to post) weights.
* Encourage participation in the moderators challenge and in the weekly team challenges.
* Remind your challengers to enter their weights on time by tagging them or messaging them when they are pending.
* Answering any questions that may come up about challenges, weigh-ins, the spreadsheets etc.
Motivator’s Responsibilities include:
* Be active in team discussions, encouraging and supporting the challengers as they post.
* Encourage challengers to participate in challenges and in group discussions.
* Participate in team discussions encouraging team participation.
* Help remind challengers when they are due to post (and especially when overdue to post) weights.
* Encourage participation in the moderators challenge and in the weekly team challenges.
* Coordinate with your awesome team captains to see if they can use any assistance or if they have any specific tasks they feel you can assist with.
F2F-WLC CHALLENGES:
- - WEEKLY GROUP CHALLENGE (Challenges hosted by teams for the entire group)
- - MODERATOR'S CHALLENGE (Challenges hosted by the moderators of the group)
- - INDIVIDUAL CHALLENGES (Challenges within teams themselves)
Team Weekly challenges will be announced in later communications
(Note:The team order for challenges follows the team order in the group standing sheet on the spreadsheets)
HOW OUR CHALLENGES WORK:
We have 4 total possible challenges and NONE are mandatory. Our challengers can do none or all it's up to them. So we have...
The F2F Weekly TEAM Challenge - posted each week on Sunday in the announcements by the team who is assigned that particular week (see above for your week). This is for the F2F Group as a whole.
F2F Moderators Challenge/Topic of the week - This challenge is provided each week in the announcements area. One of the moderators will either provide a challenge that will involve anything fitness, health, and nutrition.
Individual Team challenges - these are challenge done within your own team. You can chose daily, weekly, or monthly challenges (weekly seems to work best). You can make this whatever you wish as long as it's health and fitness related.
Note: If for some reason your team is unable to provide the weekly challenge please let me know ahead of time so another team can take your place or so I can provide the challenge.
Good Luck Teams: Please let us know if there is anything wrong or if you notice something that needs to be fixed or modified. Everything seems ready to go for JUNE. Registrations are almost done and we have quite a few new challengers. Make sure you are going into your new team threads to welcome anyone who has started posting. Let’s make our newbies feel welcome and show them some F2F love!!

Hi my name is Andrea. I’m 61 and live in Toronto. Huge Raptors fan! Hence I have a new avatar this month.
I had a few health challenges earlier in the year but I am feeling much better. I am working with a nutritionist the last few weeks to help me get the last of my weight off in the hopes that I can go off some of the medications that were prescribed earlier this year. It’s been quite successful.
I’m getting close to the 15 pound mark for this year which is really good for me. I lose weight really slowly!

Hi I’m Lori and 56yo. I want to lose about 12 more pounds and I follow keto and absolutely love it. I have lost 45 pounds since August 2018. Good luck to all whether you’re just starting, well on your way or almost at goal!! We can do this. 😁6

Hello! So I gained 2 pounds in the last month, I’m not surprised. We went to Disney for a week and I ate so much. But I’m back and ready!
Starting weight for June:

All right, I'm excited for this! My stomach is better, my meds are stable again, and I feel optimistic.
My starting weight for June from this morning is 246.2.
I started MFP the last week of March at 272, so even though my goal is a looong way away, I'm happy at my progress.7 -

Hi everyone! I'm Tatyana and I am trying to get healthy and fit before I turn 40 in a couple years! I started this journey 35 days ago and have lost 8.4 pounds!
I just started this group last month and find them very encouraging and supportive!
My weight this morning was 279.2 and I will be weighing in on Saturdays for June!

Hello all! I'm Sue, and I need to lose the extra pounds I've regained over the past few months. I'd lost around 75lbs by last summer, and for various reasons have put 15 of them back on. I want to get rid of those and continue on downwards to my ultimate goal, and I need some extra encouragement to get there!
I've been struggling with emotional eating lately and not tracking my intake, so I'm trying to focus on getting that back under control. If I can log every day, that's a win in my book! If I can manage a small deficit as well, that would be even better. Hopefully the act of tracking again will help me to cut back a bit on the foods I tend to overeat.
I'm going to be weighing in on Wednesdays, and my starting weight is logged as 159.5lbs. (My scale only does 1/2lb increments.)8 -
Hi all I'm Linda outside los angeles. My weight has been an emotional battle for years, but as I've aged and health issues, I've lost & regained a couple times. Definitely a stress eater & coming to realize the lack of support at home has tainted my efforts and I've been sabotaging myself. I'm working on my mental state - tired of thinking and not getting anywhere.
My eldest son's wedding is out of state in 4 months, so that's an upcoming point I want to look good for.8 -

Happy Lovely First Day of the June Challenge!
It is great to see new faces and to welcome back continuing members. I love that @Perla4686 is staying under goal today, and that our first weigh-in of every week, @Andreabroadley is in the GREEN seriously by 3.3 pounds. The top loser for the month of May was one of our own, @reflectionofme and we came in 2nd overall out of the 6 teams.
YOU ARE ALL AMAZING.
I am on a family visit for the next few days. I arrived here in North Carolina to see my mom yesterday, and my sister arrived today. It is such a girl party, and we are going to be laughing a lot. I did manage to get in a good sweat sesh on the elliptical today, but will have time for a full workout tomorrow morning. My mom is almost 90, and she will be beating me to the gym. She is something else!
For you new folks, I am Liselyn, one of the team's co-captains. I live in Quebec, out in the woods in a beautiful rural area. I am retired after 37 years as a university prof of music in Montreal, and I am still trying to make it happen to conntinue my life as a performing musician. It is harder outside of the big city, but I'm going to give it everything I've got.
I started this challenge last fall when I was seriously down and not taking good care to maintain the 35 pounds I had lost 8 years ago. It was just the boost I needed. I stepped up as co-captain in January (December?) and as one of the challenge Moderators in March. I've got the time and I believe in this wonderful group of people - so welcome if you are new, and welcome again if you are returning. Come here to post your weights, rant about anything, brag about your triumphs, and generally chat. Food, exercise, you name it. There are people here of many ages, places, and progress on the journey to a healthy weight and fitness level. Best wishes to all of you.5 -

Good one! So far, all the week 1 weigh-ins have been in the GREEN - good losses. Next week, no problem to weigh-in on Tuesday. Have a good week, however busy it may be.2 -
@jugar Liselyn I will be away on weigh in day this week, so I will probably weigh in on Wednesday this week or just use the starting weight. I’ll let you know.
