Hi @miz_ppyn , I will add you to the steppers group for the month of July! Yes, every step counts. When I first started and bought myself a fitbit, under advice of my doctor because I had so much weight to lose (started at 380) and was recovering from surgery, I tried to do 2,000 steps a day (5x a wk)...then I moved to 3k, then 5k (6x a wk), 6k and now I'm at 7k a day (every day)! I discovered I'm a little too competitive, but I love challenging myself. Start small and make little mini goals to step it up a bit each week/month. You'll surprise yourself at what you can do. Remember too, that even if you're walking indoors, stepping in place, it counts. For newbies, I recommend doing a little at a time throughout the day, like 250 steps at a time each hour, etc. WELCOME! Good luck! OH, and I asked everyone to share their favorite place to walk...

Steps:
6/24 = 3,092 Was at 6,000 by noon and system error. Had to reset to factory settings and lost it all.
6/25 = 8,040
6/26 = 1,358 Pool day at my sister's. Spent a good hour or so splashing around in the water and playing with the little one.
6/27 = 12,622 Busy day at work.
6/28 = 9,550 Should have lapped the house a few more times.
6/29 = 4,819 Naps are good.1 -

Sorry, it's been a long week. Spent the day out with my mom and sister Wednesday and didn't get on here to post and Thursday the internet crashed, finally came back on last night but I was at sister-in-laws birthday get-together.
Favorite place to walk is through the parks around my house. A friend has a nice wooded path by her place that ends at a playground which is handy when we walk with the little one. Best place to rack up the steps is at work pacing the carpet in front of the self-checkout registers or shopping back items.0 -

Hey there...I've put you in the Step team for July. I walk a lot at work too...it DOES rack up the steps. Also, I added your 6k to the 3092 for the day you had to reset to factory settings. Listed as 9092 for ya.
