Morning I’m new to the group and wanted some advice! I’m peri menopause and have been struggling to loose weight for some time. I have been reading that a low carb diet helps so this is what I aim to do. However I don’t know what percentage of nutrients I should have each day to enable me to loose weight. How do I work this out?
Thanks in advance for any help x

Hi suzannedlightfoot! This has been an awfully quiet thread for a while, guess we all 'graduated' lol. I do low carb myself and for more info you might want to join either the https://community.myfitnesspal.com/en/group/394-low-carber-daily-forum or the offshoot group https://community.myfitnesspal.com/en/group/112128-low-carber-daily-ladies-over-50
They are private groups so you have to ask to join as the main forums tend to get 'cranky' about Keto & LC
You might find this website helpful: https://drjockers.com/keto-menopausal-women/ I wouldn't bother getting the 'program', you can get more info for free including more links to studies on the Low Carber thread.
This is also a legitimate site with more info: https://dietdoctor.com/top-tips-lose-weight-low-carb-women-40
You can message me if you like, hope to see you over on the LC threads!
Cheers!

One more good Youtube video. https://youtube.com/watch?v=USTf3pFUrvg You can google search for Volek, Phinney, and Noakes among others - Docs who know what they are talking about.
