Not exactly a weigh in.. but I'm posting something! Just wanted to make a post so you know I'm alive. I'll come back tomorrow for sure to update you all.
Biggest news...I quit Fitbit. I got an Apple Watch but still trying to figure it all out.
I'll be back. Miss you all!

I'm grateful for the downward move, despite a busy week and not logging all my food. I'm going to make a very quick post because I have to dash off to meet workmen at our cabin up the canyon.

I had an active weekend, but not a lot of steps. Daughter and her boyfriend rented a nice boat and took us fishing for Father's Day on Saturday. We had a blast, and caught 10 or 11 trout, some of which we released. Sunday, hubby and I Facetimed with everyone and then went golfing. I had my trainer on Monday, and got a jog done, and yesterday we went out to dinner with daughter's boyfriend. He asked if he could meet us without our girl, and yes, he asked us for permission to propose marriage to her! We gave him a good questioning, after which we gave our blessing. I talked to her later, and she had no idea it had happened. They're going to Hawaii for a vacation Friday for a week, and I think that's when the proposal will happen. Stay tuned to see if she accepts, lol. She's a scaredy cat when it comes to men and commitment.

Lois, I'm so glad you're back is getting gradually better, and that you're getting in the pool for walking exercise. Hopefully you'll be able to get back on track with your intake after son and DIL move into their home. Personally, I think houseguests are tiring, even if it's family. And grandchildren are both energy makers and energy drainers. Promise me you won't help with the move. That's what men and movers are for, lol!!

Sarah, it's good news that your hubby is recovering so well. I hope he doesn't push it though, which will cause you to have to step in if he has a set-back. I hope your IT issues are all resolved, and work is settling into a better routine. The rain went on and on here as well. . It's only been the last few days that we've had blue skies and no afternoon storms bubbling up. I've never seen it as green as it is here this year. Hopefully, you'll be getting the blue skies soon.

Kelly, we'll miss you on Fitbit, but I know the struggle with that decision. My son works at Apple, and is constantly wondering why I don't get the watch. (Which I love his, his wife's, and most of my friends). It's so hard to change and leave Fitbit friends and challenges behind. Keep us posted on how you like the Apple Watch.

Gotta run. I'll check back later.

Darn! I am going in the wrong direction, and I'm getting rather discouraged. I think the crankiness is partly because work continues to be stressful and the weather is still not my friend! Today has been a killer day, and I'm still at work although it's almost 6:30. But I promise to come back soon to chat. Just wanted to be sure to post my weight before the day ends. Kelly, I am so glad to see you here again!

Sheesh - Eeek!!! That's sooo exciting! I love that he asked you guys first. Shawn asked my Dad and that meant a lot to me and to my parents. The watch is great so far! I do miss the option to challenge you ladies, but at least I can see you on here and on Facebook. On the watch, it allows you to share your activity with other people with watches, and then you can do a challenge. I haven't got that far yet with it but maybe once I get a minute to actually learn how it works I'll challenge Shawn.

Lois - I agree, houseguests are exhausting. It doesn't matter who they are, you always feel the need to entertain and cook/clean, etc. And I agree with Sheesh.. help them pay for a mover before you help them actually do the moving lol

Sarah - I totally understand the work stress causing weight gain. I'm 100% with you. Or should I say I'm an extra 10 lbs with you lol I'm slowly starting to find my groove again... but man is it ever hard.

Busy at work yesterday and today but the weekend should slow down. I'll post more then.

After finally getting back into the system on Friday afternoon, I logged in this morning and was on for maybe a half hour before the system knocked me out and I could not get back in again at all. For the first time in the month that I have been dealing with this, I felt blinding rage. I just wanted to send an email and say, "When you get this *kitten* fixed, call me. Until then--I'm DONE!"

But instead, I drove hubby to his two-week post op appointment and came home and put in a ticket for more help. Waited two hours, and finally got some. In the meantime, I called people who are waiting on work and let them know why they're not getting their data, information, etc. on time and negotiated other deadlines.

Kelly, it must be stress, because my weight was 144.4 this morning. I haven't seen it this high in several years. And my net calories are not that bad.
