Kathy stop thinking about it all. Just jump in and do it. :p

    Back later.

    Shelley

I followed your advice and let the anxiety and fear go and had my best lesson. For the first time I actually swam half the length of the pool on my own. My instructor was so proud! So now I feel I am really swimming and not just floating. Looking forward to my lesson today.

    Thank you friend!

Kathy that is wonderful. I am so happy for you. Each lesson will get better. I guess you just needed that extra "push" to let it all go. Thinking can sometimes be a hang-up. Won't Ron be surprised. You have worked so hard for this. I am so happy for you and proud to be your friend.

Hey Chris I did a lot of that yesterday. I had the day off and Rocky was gone. So I just puttered around the house, cleaned some and relaxed some.

137.8 at 6:00 this morning. My fingers tried to key in 147.8...EGADS!!!!

Great job, Kathy! Be very proud of yourself.

Going to do some more of it this afternoon, Shelley!! :D

Made a really different soup today. Chicken Gnocchi Soup. I've never had potato gnocchi before. Interesting. Don't know how it's going to go over w/Patrick...we'll see.

137.6 this morning at 7:00...slept in from our sleepin' in!! No walking today. I'm sure we'll get out there tomorrow morning.

Took Bean for a car ride to the post office to mail some bills then to Nick's niche to leave pretty flowers. We dropped him at home and went to Kaiser for meds. He was so crazy excited when we got home! He's such a love! The kids are back from D'land, so we'll be taking him home once Ronan wakes up from his nap.

Kathy I have been yoyoing also. Let's do better.

Chris you are doing great! Such an inspiration. Dogs are such a joy. They love unconditionally.

Barney keeps improving in small ways. Work was super busy. We had an arson in court for bond today. His bond was set at $100,000.00 cash or surety. I got carried away and put in 1,000,000.00 Oops! :p
He is wanted in Texas also. Bad boy.

    138.0 this morning...I think.

The soup is different. I'll have some more tonight and see how it has blended.

Oh, to have 1,000,000.00 cash!!! Okay...or even 100,000 cash to plop down for bond would be nice. Bad boy, indeed!

138.4 at 6:30 this morning. Walking w/DH in a bit. It is really hot here already!

Sara and Ronan might be coming over later today. I got Ronan an infuser bottle for kids. It is pink, but he won't care. There is a green one, but it will take five weeks to get here. They are the same style just different colored tops. It was the only kid infuser bottle out there. Crazy. Anyway, I have one and use it every day. I put cucumber, orange and lemon in it. The kids call it 'swamp water'. Ronan loves the water. I will pour some into one of his cups and he drinks it while he is here. I'm hoping his new infuser bottle will be a big hit. I'll keep you posted.

139.8 at 6:30 ...yikes! gotta go for a walk. We did almost 3 miles yesterday. At least that is what my Fitbit gave us. I had my phone in my pocket and hit "END" somehow and it stopped at a mile. Don't know what I did wrong there.

    Well, gotta go.

Hi Chris! I hope your infuser was a success. Swamp water is to funny.

I did not get much done the last 2 days. Company from Montana was here for a short visit. He came up to go to a retirement barbecue. It was a coworker of his and Rockys. It was fun. But are to much. Up to late. I tracked what I have eaten so far today and I have already eaten my caloric intake for the day. Minus 150 calories. :s

Shelley, Pat put a label around the top of the bottle..."Big Kid Ronan's Swamp Water"...he loves it. Still hard to use with the cast, but he kept trying. I helped. I'll try to get a picture tomorrow. Sara, Ronan and Bean are coming over. Sara and I are going to try and put together an old spaghetti sauce recipe I had years and years ago...in my head. I never wrote it down. We'll see what happens.

Photos for sure are in order. ;) I might need some swamp water also. ;) I hope the spaghetti experiment turns out delicious.

We drove down to Colorado today. We decided to look for something to remember the day with. I found a really nice glazed dragonfly for the patio wall. To cute. We also found a nice Rose of Sharon, Tahiti. It was a bit spendy. But I am guessing it was because it was in a large bucket and a larger mature plant. Instant garden in a bucket. Just add yard. I learned something new today. That there was a koi that lived to be over 200 years old. CRazy.

    Night all,

Spaghetti was close. The three of us sat at the table eating it and throwing out our comments...what it needed...what was too much. Sara and I will try again.

    Hope it was tasty Chris.

I have been weeding and enjoying the mornings outside. I am out there later also, to hot to enjoy it much though. Been hard to get in my steps while weeding so much.

Well Chris I sure hope it turns out tasty!

The hot air ballons went over our home again this morning. At 6:00. I was trying to sleep in. But had to see them once I heard them. There was 6 that we could see. They were so bright. Then we walked the kids and had a light breakfast. Taking a break before time to clean the house. Got in a couple hours of weeding also.

139.something. I forget. Probably be back to 140 tomorrow, says the old lady eating a kid's box of Animal Crackers.

I've never seen hot air balloons drifting around the sky before! How fun...except the 6:00 a.m. if you were planning to sleep in. We walked too...2.30 miles. B)

The soup was good. I'm not a hamburger fan so kinda ate around it. Nice flavor. We had Ronan for a couple of hours this morning. Pat fixed me an over-easy egg with a buttered waffle. I shared it w/Ronan...he loved it! Before that, Ronan and I were busy making Swamp Water. He got a hold of the cut lemon and was licking it! Then he would shiver and lick it again and say, "Yummy! Sour!" Crazy kid.

Share them cookies Chris! Are they the frosted kind of the ones that came in the little red box? Loved them things. Nice steps Chris. I didn't do as good. Not feeling that great. To much sun maybe. Why do kids seem to like sour things?

I think I mentioned the balloon that scared Libby into hysterics and landed in the parking lot of the dog park. Poor baby. I am exhausted.

I hope you are okay, Shelley. Take care. And yes, the little red box!

141.8 this morning at 4:15. What did I expect for the middle of the night? Ugh!

Walking in 10 mins for 60 mins then picking up the boys. Meeting w/our trainer this afternoon. I'll let you know how it goes.

    Gotta go.

I had lunch with DH and my friend Angie. Went to a burger place called Little House of Burgers. It was a fun place. :)

    140.4 at 5:30 this morning.

Our/trainer cancelled our session. My incision is weeping. Going to the doc's this morning. She wants to wait to see what he says. Day off from walking. These meds make me so sleepy. zzzzzzz

Aw Chris! I am so sorry. Take the nap. Rocky was able to work out, but was put on antibiotics for weeks.

This was my first day back on full duty. I was in an elevator with a person who is a hoarder. She is facing charges for over 81 counts of animal cruelty. Macaws, dogs, cats, chickens. Read animals. The elevator smelled like a cat box just because she was in it. Other than that it was a good day. With lots of steps in!

143.0 at 4:30 a.m. <---One reason I dislike early get ups. But if we don't get up early, we can't walk. Getting way too hot.

I had to go to the mall after work to get some steps in Chris. Worked late and most of it was sitting in a child custody trial. Stayed within my calories though.
