Hi and Welcome!

We are going to try and be informal here but there are a few rules to know:

1) Know the difference between fact and opinion.
2) Don't pee in someone else's sandbox - if you tried keto and it didn't work out it doesn't make it bad for someone else.
3) Medical supervision is necessary for very low calorie diet discussion.
4) This is a place for practical weight loss discussion only. All roads must lead to a calorie deficit.
5) The ONLY advice we give to people suspected of an eating disorder is to see a doctor.
6) Try to keep your disagree button in your pants as much as you can.

Asking for a thread or posts to be deleted:

At the current time our group is public meaning anyone can join and view posts. If you wish to discuss something sensitive but once the discussion is finished you wish for it to be gone just ask. Everyone's comfort is important to us and we will be happy to oblige. Unless the thread is in urgent need of deletion we will add a message that it is marked for deletion and close it first. This will give anyone returning later a chance to read replies and also understand why it will be gone soon. IF the thread contains a lot of non specific valuable information we may also choose to ask an MFP moderator to separate posts into a new thread or edit or remove posts that are specifically sensitive.

Thread topics:

This is a very informal group. All topics are fair game for use as you see fit as long as you are not just spamming them. This includes going off-topic assuming that if a question has been asked in the original post it has been answered. You do not need to be concerned about random discussion even in the core threads. They will return to topic in due course.
