How often do you rest?

I just started using my totalgym about two weeks ago when it came. I'm doing the total beginner workout. I have been doing it at least 3 times a week. I also like to walk outside. How often do you guys rest? Yesterday I woke up feeling like I got hit by a bus after my totalgym workout Saturday and a very long walk Sunday. I resumed my totalgym workout today.
