@RangerRickL: happy birthday! Enjoy your Margarita! I just got an Apple Watch recently. I always knew that drinking affected my weight loss. Since tracking my heart rate on nights that I have a glass of wine (or more than 1) my heart rate is sometimes 20bpm higher than when I don’t drink. It stays high for most of the night too! That seems very unhealthy to me. I love wine but when I see that kind of proof that I am doing harm to my body it is making it much easier to save for special occasions

I too struggle with "doing me" when the fam is around. Summers are my fav and hard to focus. My friend stopped by for a night swim and so I decided to forgo my evening walk. At dusk with her gone my daughter says, "well are we going for a walk". I wanted to say No it's dark and I'm tired but we went so baby steps in letting others help me.8 -

Lucky you! The Perseid meteor shower was at its peak here last night... and we had clouds! Did you see any it are you too far south?

We were overcast, too, last night. This past weekend was, supposedly, also good for viewing. Went out once...but light pollution from Rochester in the northeastern sky made it difficult to focus.1 -

In remission at the moment, but eating out. So far, so good. Effects social engagements & travel.
And eating at another’s home with conversation. Difficult to focus on the food.
