I had to look up why we call August the "dog days of summer". Actually, it all began back in ancient Greece. The constellation Canis Major (the dog) was viewed as chasing Lepus, the hare.

Exercised?: Yes - about 40 minutes walking at the shops.
Calories?: No - went a little over my maximum cals today.
Tracked?: Yes - all tracked.
Not a great day, but the amount i over-ate by today can be easily covered by the deficit I've had during the week, so I'm not disappointed. One slightly bad day won't wreck anything in the long run10 -

Yes x 3 thanks to all of you! I would happily have watched TV or read this evening but thanks to my UAC team mates holding me accountable, I got out my mat, hand weights and put on a home workout to follow.

Long time off and on Challenge member jumping in again mid-month.
Did I exercise for at least 20 minutes? Yes, 1 hour 58 minutes bicycling in the morning, and a 60 minute trail run/walk this evening.

Pass day today took an exercise break today felt really exhausted yesterday and wanted to focus on rest and relaxation today. Went to get my hair washed and went to a basketball game. Went to happy hour but only had one drink. Sticking with liquor straight if I drink without all the mixers. Had shrimp wontons at the bar (love these at this particular bar because they are fresh, no filling other than shrimp and some herbs) but ate my other meals at home.6 -
