@goldthistime -- Glad to hear the morning workouts are working for you! I'm a morning workout person myself. I get up at 5am every weekday morning and Saturday morning for my long runs. It took me about two weeks to get fully used to it and now my body naturally wakes itself up at 5am or a few minutes before. And I feel the same way you do -- it helps my body naturally wake up, it gives me a great metabolism push for the day, and I get it done before something else pops up in my day to make it so I can't work out.

was able to get my activity in today and thought I would be ok on calories but when I logged everything in I was way over. I normally log as I go throughout the day but went to dinner for my moms bday and didnt log until I got home.

It wasn't an active weekend, but I put my time in and kept the calories down. The fourth weigh-in for the X-Mas Challenge is tomorrow and hopefully the scale reflects the work.5 -
Hi there I've returned after trying something else for a few weeks that did not result in any weight loss. Aug 4th tracked all my calories and came under my limit. exercised for 20 mins. pleased!4

Today was my third day doing 20-30min of strength training first(ish) thing in the morning and I’m delighted to say I think this is a routine I can stick with. Doing it early means I’m far less likely to bump up against competing priorities. I thought maybe I’d feel too sluggish to get a quality workout but I have a quick breakfast and coffee then go, so my energy level has been fine.
I’m excited! Feeling like this could be a game changer for me.

@corriepelc You’re amazing! My early morning workout is the “low impact” version of yours . I did something similar to what you’re doing back in my 20s, and I found it incredibly tough. It took me forever to adjust. Much respect!
