It wasn't an active weekend, but I put my time in and kept the calories down. The fourth weigh-in for the X-Mas Challenge is tomorrow and hopefully the scale reflects the work.5 -

Today was my third day doing 20-30min of strength training first(ish) thing in the morning and I’m delighted to say I think this is a routine I can stick with. Doing it early means I’m far less likely to bump up against competing priorities. I thought maybe I’d feel too sluggish to get a quality workout but I have a quick breakfast and coffee then go, so my energy level has been fine.
I’m excited! Feeling like this could be a game changer for me.
Fantastic! We can feel your excitement reading this! ☺2 -
@am_change Thank you!
@corriepelc You’re amazing! My early morning workout is the “low impact” version of yours . I did something similar to what you’re doing back in my 20s, and I found it incredibly tough. It took me forever to adjust. Much respect!
@ConfidentRaven Happy Birthday! Love the username by the way.
@BonnieHosk85 and @mrmcgrath Belated Anniversary and Birthday wishes
@ForAmanda222 Welcome back!

Did I exercise for at least 20 minutes?

Did I keep track of everything I ate and drank?
yes, yes, yes ...I got some epic exercise. Kind of out did myself for this year anyway.
2,000 calorie burn on a 3,000 foot climb.
There is a foot race, trail runner race, up a mountain near me like annually.
I don't go in it. They only allow 400 entrants so you have to have lottery or something.
But those guys are chugging up the mountain on a 9 mile track, I am chugging up the mountain on a 14 mile track on my bicycle.
I don't beat anyone but hey, I know how to find a party.
It is way cool. People drive by me because they are going to get to the top finish line to see their pals come in. They hoot and holler and I know some of them.
Heh, I am going up a road. The race is up a trail.
I don't know why I think that is fun.
I ought to put a picture of my bike posing by the road.
Oh yeah, my goal for this month - climb 30,000 or 1,000 per day average.
So far 6,822. Looking like it could happen.3 -
