That's completely unexpected, but I'll take it. I think tummy trouble and being so busy with family activities contributed to a reduction. Now . . to keep that going in a healthy way.

Lois, it's great that you get your blood moving with the extra steps at work. Hang in there with that heat and humidity! I'd be in the pool at every opportunity!

Let's discuss ideas for the August push. I'm interested in what strategy you'll have, and what you think you'll change or leave the same.

Hope we hear some input from Kelly as well!

Had a fail this morning. B for effort. Had the clothes, iPad, water and headset ready for a ride this am. Couldn’t get iPad to connect to peloton. Fussed and fussed. 20 mins later gave up as I ran out of time. Jumped in shower and went to work. Working from home this afternoon so had lunch with hubby. Apparently our provider had an outage last night and didn’t anticipate being back up until 7. DOH!!!

This is so bizarre. I put my weight in late this afternoon, mentioning that I had weighed on Wednesday, but due to a work issue didn't get to post. I said that I had to get back to work to continue working on the issue but would be back to chat when I could. Came upstairs to turn off the computer and get ready for bed (went from work out to some volunteer stuff so did not get back on the computer after I stopped work) and my post is nowhere to be found. Must run now, but wanted to let you know.

Lois--Wow! Seven miles! You are a machine, my friend. I don't know how you do that given all the other things you have been juggling. Time for me to make my August Push Plan.

Yesterday, I thought my knee was back to normal almost. Then walking up the stairs, I felt a little catch and pain again. So last night I did not try to walk after we finally got back in. This has been an unusual week with work. I discovered an issue with some data that was being requested by a major news outlet, and so figuring that out and coordinating with the graphics, web, media, social media, and epi folks had to come before all else. In the midst of this, hubby learned that one of his major vendors is closing 20 branch offices with no notice, which may cause serious problems for him. And a friend's dad died, and I had a dentist appointment to squeeze in. You know. Life happened. LOL But we did get to a Nats game on Tuesday night, which was a nice break from work and home even though we lost 11 to 8.
