Ugh -- I haven't posted in a few days
exercise - a bit slovenly for a few days. Strange though is that a got a few days of alcohol free. Bit of a contradiction to my lethargy.
Took Little Buddy to the zoo on Saturday. We hung out with the penguins. He was fascinated. I got some vid clips of that. He was trying to vocalize. I always try to think about how to keep him engaged with an amount of sensory input that would stimulate or motivate that.
I only have him on Saturdays now. His mom gets some good respite. Sometimes she goes to the gym or running. That is a good deal. By helping with a little boy a whole family can move in a healthy direction.
There is a new gym opening like a block from me. It used to be Hobby Lobby there. Seems like it would be kind of convenient for me but I ain't as much of a gym guy as I used to be.
I am thinking about going to the track. Try to get there right when it gets light out.
A myriad of trails there but it has like a 10k loop. I try to talk Buddy's mom into going there. She don't like hills though.
I like hills big time. I don't always do the loop. I mostly just do hill repeats.
These days I am liking the track better than my old canyon digs. That road got a little to rough for my joints. The track is still plenty rough though.
Canyon hasn't got people in it. Sometimes I am the only guy there for like hours. Sometimes that is really nice but sometimes I get nervous about that. If I stub my toe how long before somebody goes by. Ain't no cell signal.
