Mid-month, we look up from the bathroom scale and rejoice about something else in our life that is going right!
When I look in the mirror, I see an old guy looking back. Nonetheless, since I have accountability with you, I do modest daily exercise with concessional bursts of outdoor fun activities.
I can still mount a horse from the ground and carry heavy logs to the bonfire.
What is going well with you?

I walked very fast for 5 minutes to be on time for a concert and was not sweating or out of breath. I have a lot more energy to do the things on my To Do list as well as fun things. I have more patience with my partner who has Alzheimer's.12

Exercise : Yes. The swimmimgpool re-opened, hurray! I did a fairly gentle 30 minutes breast stroke, good for my knee, and additionally walked for 70 minutes, to and from the pool and to my Book Club.
Calories: Yes, stayed under. Just had green tea at the book club, no cakes!
Tracking: Yes, logged it all.11 -

Thanks for all the love and support. Tomorrow is my first day back at work without our seal there. I know my heart will hurt, but I also know I can get through this.
Today was good. An evening walk before a fun cooking evening with some of the ladies from church. The day included prepping food for the week and getting some shopping and admin done.
My current nsv is that I'm running again and I increase pace each time. Also just the fact that I'm back focusing on my nutrition and training is a big step for me this year.
Loving the warmer weather as well!12 -

Exersized-?yes
Caleries?-yes
Logged?-yes
NSV- I can wear a smaller size dress. I notice a difference in my cloths. I'm snoring less. Do more things without being breathless as fast.
Update: I got the ok to start my usual walking and water aerobic. I just have to wear a knee brace for extra knee support. No more crutch. I need to listen to what my body is telling me about how much is too much.13 -

Yes x 3. Exercise was weights, a 5 min trial run (went ok), and golf this afternoon,
My NSV is that I fit all my clothes again, can keep up with my friends on the tennis courts and cycling, and am less exhausted after babysitting the grandkids .
I’m back to where I was before my rough winter, which is great, but I feel compelled to add that I still have more work to do to get my bf% down to ideal levels health wise.13 -

E.C.T all yeses for me. I managed to not have a corn bread muffin with my dinner at Cracker Barrel. Whew! Very pricy at 270 calories each. My otherwise compliant dinner was good without it but it's easier just to eat at home.13
