NSV for me ---
short version
My medication is reducing FAST -- I will be pill free in a few short weeks.
long story
I got a herniated disk in 2017 (it was the reason I had to quit UAC - I was too badly injured to do any exercise each day - I was almost bed ridden and had to "sleep/sit / lie " propped up on pillows to support my frame - sleep was difficult only managing to catch 5 mins at a time and lying awake in pain most of the night / day
The early half of 2018 I was put on Gabapenton for the pain and the NSV part of it is ... I have reduced my medication down to 300mg a day, the doc said, with an injury as bad as mine, If all went well it would take me 5 years to be off the pills and I may likely be stuck with a small doze for life ... I have only been on them for about 18 months and I will be free of them by the end of this year .. more than halving the time the doc told me I would be reliant on them ... I just dropped to 300mg today (16th) 1/8 of my original doze
I have stuck to doing my physio regularly, maybe only missing a few days a month and with the help of UAC I have been doing it daily this month13 -
@Slimpossible007 what a fantastic NSV!1

@Slimpossible007 Brilliant! Well done!1

Yes x 3!
Exercise included lawn mowing, moving furniture from the garage to the house and walking.
NSV was pulling on an outfit I keep in the trailer for camping and having to "hitch up" those pants because they were too large - I grinned the whole day as I kept on hitchin'!8 -
Date: Monday, September 16th
Exercise Tracked In MFP: Yes, 2.19 miles on the Treadmill
Calories and Water Tracked In MFP: Yes
Within Daily Calorie Range of 1300 to 1440: Yes, 1165
Extra:
Daily Water Goal of 7 Water-Bottles: 3
Pass Day Count: 2
Progress of Weekly 2-pound goal: 1.0
Keep moving forward and keep making progress….I gotta keep on keeping on : )
My NSV: I am excited that I have only used 2 Pass Days so far. Usually, by now, I would be disqualified. I think the treadmill is helping on that because I tell myself that I am not "un-doing" the work I did on the treadmill for a drive-thru dinner.
