UK pathway to bypass- help!!

I’m in the UK and on the path way for a bypass. Except because of funding in NHS there is a massive waiting time for the operation. Consequently I have stupidly put back on nearly 2 stones of the three I have lost post operative. They are telling me now I may be taken off the pathway as what’s the point of the operation if I am just going to regain the weight. I’m so upset and disheartened. How do I get my motivation back? I’m bedbound 90% of my day with disabilities. Feel like giving up for good.

It's definitely disheartening..I can only imagine how frustrated you must be. But!! Remember why you started this whole process to begin with! Your health and well-being is worth fighting for. You are worth fighting for! Keep your chin up!
