    @jugar Please remove MARNIsw from team Trimstones and put her in the cheer squad. She is taking a break due to a death in her family and will return later, once she's able to focus again. Thanks, Jessica

    @jugar - Good morning! The team Weight No More spreadsheet is broken at lines 20 and 21 with the lbs lost & %lost not calculating. Not sure how to fix it? Thanks!

    GOOD MORNIN CAPTAINS
    I AM WORKING ON A NEW HOMEPAGE FOR THE GROUP.... I HAVE A GRAPHIC DESIGNER WORKING WITH ME THAT WORKED WITH ME BEFORE I RETIRED FROM THE BOYS&GIRLS CLUB.
    IF YOU THERE IS SOMETHING LIKE TO SEE ADDED TO IT NOW IS THE TIME TO LET ME KNOW.. THIS IS GOING TO A WORK IN PROGRESS SO HOPEFULLY I CAN ROLL IT OUT FOR THE NEW YEAR. .... BY AND LARGE THE CONTENT WILL THE STAY THE SAME IN TRIBUTE TO MARI. I AM GOING TO ADD SHORT TRIBUTE TO HER AS WELL.
    WHEN WE ADD THE TEAMS I WOULD LIKE TO ADD THE TEAM CAPTAINS ALSO.... I THINK I AM ALSO GOING TO ADD A PARAGRAPH TO ACKNOWLEDGE THE MOTIVATORS AS THEY PLAY JUST AS BIG A PART AS WE THE CAPTAINS DO.

    PART 2
    AS MOST OF YOU KNOW I AM A OSTOMATE..WHICH MEANS I HAVE A FULL FUNCTIONING ILEOSTOMY. ONE OF MARI'S GOALS WAS TO BUILD THIS GROUP SO WE ARE THE TOP DOGS ON THE BLOCK. I WOULD LIKE TO FULFILL THAT GOAL.
    SO WITH THAT IN MIND I AM GOING TO REACH OUT TO MY IG OSTOMATES AND INVITE THEM TO JOIN US.
    NOW IF I HAVE AN OVER WHELMING RESPONSE I AM GONG TO START A TEAM OF OSTOMATES. I HAVE ALREADY SPOKE TO TEAM MEMBERS ON THE WARRIORS TO SEE IF THEY WOULD BE WILLING TO REPLACE ME AS I WOULD BE THE CAPTAIN OF THE OSTOMATE TEAM. THEY ARE READY AND WILLING TO DO SO IF THE NEED SHOULD ARISE. IT'S A CRAP SHOOT AS TO WHAT THE RESPONSE WILL BE SO WE WILL HOW IT GOES.

    I WILL BE OPENING RECRUITING THIS WEEK END. IN PREPARATION FOR THE NEW MONTH.
    HERE IS WHAT I'VE GOT AS NUMBERS FOR EACH TEAM AS OF THIS MORNING.

    I WILL START WITH TEAMS WAW'S AND TS'S AS THEY HAVE THE FEWEST EVEN THEM OUT WITH THE REST OF US AND THEN GO FROM THERE. THAT IS UNLESS I HAVE A SPECIFIC REQUEST FOR A TEAM. I WILL HONOR THAT REQUEST AS ALWAYS.

    Great news! It will be wonderful to have an updated home page, and to continue to channel the Mari Energy. My only request is to keep it tight - lots of scrolling gets to be a drag, especially on smaller devices. The fave four letter word of any web page project - EDIT!

    I'm having a problem, though.

    My team seems to be disappearing - not from the challenge, but from the chat. This is the second month in a row where it is getting quieter and quieter in there. Any ideas you amazing captains and motivators can offer us to help encourage all the challengers to get in there and participate are welcome! I know we do great when that happens. In July we were on fire, but since then - the less the participation, the less weight everyone loses. If there is a motivator in particular who would like to connect with our motivator - I'd be thrilled. I may need a second motivator as well, since the wonderful person we have is swamped with work and is not able to get on the team chat very much these days. I spend quite a bit of time reading other team threads, and some great stuff is happening.

    Really just kind of venting, but worried about my wonderful gang slipping away :# Help!

    I just said this same thing to Beka last night. It's frustrating that we are trying so hard and little to no response at times

    @jugar Make that one of your challenges...ask everyone to make three posts a day all week long...also posting articles or daily questions can generate buzz too...I yack all the time and sometimes get no response at all...it's very disheartening but I know people are busy too. Just shows, I currently don't have a life! :smile: LOL

    As a brand new captain to my group, Mission Slimpossibles, I know that I need to step up my presences more and get people talking and interacting. Now that I've finally gotten moved into my new house and sold the old one, I think I can take a breath. :)

    Jessica, your advice is great and I think posting articles and asking questions is a good idea. I also plan to issue a step challenge for October for my group. We have done that in the past and it always seems to help and get people posting more. My group is also so blessed to have Austin Ruadhain as our motivator. She is the best!!! <3

    I have tried even getting one post a day. I'm not sure that the people who are not posting even read the request. I think the best time to put in a new requirement for more posts is at the beginning of the month. Going to give it a try for October. Thanks!

    @Moarrein (on cheer squad) seems to have reached her goal and is leaving the team.

    @CassieGetsFit2013 & @gottagetthisdown - Both have said that they are not participating in the challenge after this week. For now, I think they can be moved to cheer squad.

    Hello Captains!

    As we begin Week 4, this is the time to contact anyone on your support team or even from the drop list who might like to come back for October. There are a few on every team who have taken some time off and might want to start again in October, so please get in touch with them as soon as you can. If they want to come back, just let us know here and @Navydaddjtc or I will put them back into your regular roster. Check what their starting weight will be for October, if they want to keep their old weigh-in day, etc.

    Also, if there are people who are certainly NOT coming back, let us know about that too so they can be removed.

    I'll have the October spreadsheets ready later today, so look for the invitation in your email today or tomorrow. We'll get the member lists started, to be updated through the week with new people and any changes you send here. Thanks!

    @jugar Thank you! Sorry about that!

    Also, McKay85 had a very late weigh in. Today for Friday. I know it counts as a NWI but do I still change it on the spread sheet? It also was a 5lbs loss, she said her scale has been off. She also is asking her weigh in day to be changed to Saturday. Thanks.

    Actually....hold off on changing McKay85's day. I am going to try to get her to weigh in earlier in the week and use that weight from today. I will let you know when she responds. She hasn't been very active lately so Idk how soon this will be.

    I can change her NWI to a LWI if you want to keep her on the same day - but changing days works too. For the moment I'll do nothing. And please, let me change any NWI or anything - it makes it easier to keep track and keep the rules the same for everyone. Thanks!

    @jugar . I still haven't heard back from McKay so I don't know if we should just move her to Saturday and do a LWI. She may not even go back and check her message at this point. She seems to just hop on and submit her weight and that is it until the next weigh in.

    also, please move carlsoda to the cheersquad for October. She is moving. She plans to return.

    Let's leave it as a LWI for McKay for now. I have quite a few of those people who only come on to submit weights and it is difficult to communicate with them. If you "friend" her you can send her a message in the MFP mailbox. Maybe that will get through. In any case, I'll just leave her until she gets it together to respond or make her next weigh-in.

    @jugar I contacted all of my dropouts from Sep and got only one who is ready to come back. Please move thutchinson2210 to the October chart and I will make sure to fill in her beginning weight. I'm waiting to hear back from her once she weighs herself. Just put her where she was before and if she asks for a different day, I'll readjust as needed.
