Hello Everyone,

my name is Heather, I am new to your group and had some questions...This is my information :)

Body Fat: 62.4% (updated 08/15/13)
First Goal: 213lb

TDEE: Harris- 2,106 x.70 (30%) NO exercise-1474 eat
Light 1-3 Workout -2413x.70(30%)-1689 eat
Moderately Active (moderate exercise/sports 3-5 days/wk) 2720 x.70% (30%)-1904 eat

I am wondering if after I post my food information for the day, if its okay to add my full calories lost and workout time? I know others say it will change your macros and such. I am just wonder if doing it this way is okay? I have a body media core armband that tracks my workouts and intensity of them and so forth. So mine are WAY above what MFP says. I have used it with a heart rate monitor as well and they are off by 20 calories. So Accurate at about 85%. BUT anyways, I am starting to eat less dairy and go gluten free because I have been having stomach issues with it. I guess my questions really are why do I keep plateauing? I started out on 1800 calories lost 5lbs and plateaued then dropped it to 1600 and that was same story 5lbs and plateaued for 1 month on each times. Then I dropped to 1500 ( more 1250-1300 as I never get close most days to 1500) and i have been loosing a few lbs here and there. What am I doing wrong? I am trying not to COMPLICATE things...so figured time to ask for help and have others look at my stuff :) thanks so much!!!

EDIT: I know 1 issue is, even when I workout I stay at 1500 calories as its between the 1474 and 1689. I know I need to get better at feeding my body the right amount of calories to keep the burn going. But its like I have to FORCE myself to eat foods....which is shocking as I weight 293lbs!! but this has always been my issues, eating small but eating BAD FOODS ( Fast foods and such)....So I REALLY need a overhaul help :)

Provide your stats (height/weight/age/bodyfat% if you know it/etc)

5'3, 286.2lbs, 26, BF-27.8 (basic) and 62.1 (Military) not sure which would work.

What's your current gross intake of calories, on average?
This is what I was confused about, when I eat I am close to 1450. but then add my workout at night time so I don't change my carbs and such. Well I am only netting close to 800. So I am SUPER confused to what I follow. I read everything you suggested but still lost.

What's your current average intake of protein, carbs, and fats, in grams? (GRAMS, not percent!)

    Carbs-191g, Fats- 60g, and Protein- 57g

Do you use a food scale and measure everything?
Yes, I use a food scale and measure everything.

Do you track all of your intake, daily? (Everything?)
    Yes

Do you take cheat days or days off?
I do cheat days, but I make them work in my macros.

How much weight have you lost so far and over what time period?
44lbs and have lost that in 1 year this Nov.

Describe your activity (exercise and non exercise) and did you change that activity withing the last couple of months?

My activities consist of walking/light jogging 3-5 miles ( this fluctuates due to a leg injury I have. It sometimes is very painful were I can't do much.)

How long have you been stalled and if it is not a complete stall please be very specific as to how much you have lost over the stalled period.

My stalling seems to happen after every 10lbs lost. I started at 1800 calories and lost 10lbs and didn't lose anything for a month, so then dropped down to 1700 and lost 10lbs and then stalled out again for another month so dropped to 1600 calories and same thing 10lbs lost and then stalled out. Right now I am eating at 1530 calories and am stalled out. I am not sure if it is because I am not eating the right way.. As in how my net calories only keep showing me eating 800 or so calories after exercise. I also use a bodymedia armband which tracts my information for me and they have my TDEE at 2555 and eating at 1555 calories to be at a 1,000 deficit. ( I am shooting for 2lbs a week or more if you believe it would be good for me?)

    Are you breastfeeding?
    NO

Do you have thyroid issues/risks or PCOS?
    NO

I thank you so much for your help! I thought I was doing it right and am so CONFUSED as everyone keeps telling me to change this and change that. If you need anymore information please just ask :)

PS- sorry it took me so long to post to this, I forgot I had posted here as I have so many other groups I post to as well. THANKS again!!

Please set your food diary to "public".
