best exercise post surgery?

I just got discharged from the hospital, but I'm feeling really excited about the lifestyle changes coming my way. I lost 13 pounds on the pre-op diet, and now I'm down 18 pounds total. I know I have to wait for two weeks to start exercise/weight training. I'm just curious what has been the most successful regimen for most of you? I was considering doing something like orange theory fitness, or group exercise classes...but I also want to do weight training. Anything that has worked out well for you guys?
