Last night, we had a lovely sunset here at the farm.

@RangerRickL I will declare myself out of the Winner's Circle for October. I started out with 2 pass days right at the beginning of the month due to our travel plans...and then incurred a recent evening snack attack for pass #3. It was still a good month; but I have every intention of going out for dinner with my boyfriend on Halloween (intended pass #4) and do not plan to count calories or track. I will look forward to the new challenge in November. Extending my best wishes to everyone else for a strong finish for October.

Tomorrow is going to be a tough one. I’m heading to southern France so I’ll be spending most of the day in the car. I won’t be able to have a proper gym session. I’ll try to walk as much as I can but I don’t think I’ll be able to offset the diner I’ll be having with friends in the evening. Will try to limit the damage while still enjoying ;-p
(I’m out of the circle, but still proud of myself and grateful to be part of the group and to have found a great challenge)

Okay today due to exercise. Finally followed up on a year-long goal of mine of trying out a Parkour class! Signed up for a three-day-a-week beginner course for a month. Today was day one-- went well and a great movement workout!3 -

I haven't been much for regular posting.
Mostly doing ok with cruise control tracking.
Steady on at goal weight +2, so not wildly out of bounds.
Kind of lost my exercise mojo.
That is kind of bad because this time of year the diet and exercise candle starts burning at both ends.
Mojo - I hate to admit it but I get a good bit of my mojo from posting to a chat board like this one. Really this is the only chat board like this one.
Psychologically I don't know what that means. Am I an old dog just barking into the internet?
Am I abusing people whose hard exercise is the stuff of long gone days?

My exercise self image, is that the very stuff of the descriptor "Quixotic."
Every spring it hits me, "can I still do as big of climb as last year?"
I try to get motivation mojo from that throughout the winter.
Aging...
I can't lift Buddy any longer by myself.
Wife and I have learned pretty good coordination for that though.
Ability to Take care of Buddy is a pretty good perspective.4 -
