Help Needed - New to Everything

I am new to this app and new to Keto. I have a huge journey ahead of me.
I have successfully lost weight watching both my carb and calorie intake about a decade ago. For the first time in my life I was at a healthy weight.
Sadly, I am back where I started in the course of two short years. My health became an issue and the doctors could not properly diagnose what was happening. I could not walk without becoming faint, my face was swelling to the point my eyes were swelled shut, my breathing became labored easily all were a few of the symptoms I was facing.
As it progressed and a multitude of testing provided limited answers I became very depressed and gave up. During this time my weight returned back to where I was over a decade ago. I am not making excuses just aware of how I let myself get here.
I now know the biggest culprit is a heart rythym issue that escalates my heart rate. My body does not respond to medicine as well as most. While it is not as erratic as it was before it still fluctuates daily.
I am managing the depression better than before. I also know that in order to have the best life possible that I can even with this condition I have to get this weight off. I have to become more mobile again.
I have decided to attempt the keto life style. While I was not following keto my body did respond amazingly well when I restricted carbohydrates along with my calories. I am hoping it will respond well to keto.
I purchased MyFitnessPal Premium so I could track my macros. My first question is do you to pay for the premium in order to get the macro tracker?
My second question is in regards to the devices that monitor ketosis. Are the ones that you breathe into effective or do you suggest the ones that utilize test strips?
Any input would be greatly appreciated. Hopefully, I will be able to find my way back to this group. I am having difficult navigating this app.

I am new to MFP, have yet to figure out the whole tracking. How are you doing with Keto, I just found the date of your post 2019 I love the keto-mojo0
