Hey ya'll! My first post on this group! Yesterday I finished Month 1... Didn't think I'd survive, but by the end, I felt much fitter; I could do cardio power and resistance pretty much without stopping, but the other two I needed more than the allotted breaks.

Well, anyways. Tomorrow kicks off recovery week (thankfully) and then it's on to month 2. I am so nervous about month 2!! Seriously. So, just figured I'd come here and ask for any survival tips or advice.

For those of you all who didn't have a ton of weight to lose - did it come off quick in month 2? I need to lose 7-10 more lbs but have only lost 2 lbs in month 1, which is slightly discouraging.

Thanks in advance. Any advice is appreciated!

  • Hey Amina, I am in the exact same position as you. I finished my month one today and am starting recovery week tomorrow, although i have had a look at the recovery week DVDs and they also look as tough lol.

Ive read alot of reviews that month two is tough but to just stick at it. I used to be in the Army and have ran marathons etc and can honestly say this type of interval training is defo the best thing for fat burning and body conditioning - i sweat so much its unreal (too much info i know!)

My main point was that i too am wondering about the weight loss thing you mentioned, i feel like i have lost inches but the scales arent that impressive at all! 6 lbs only but i understand its the muscle weight that should be considered so ive bought a tape measure today and will record like that. Im hoping month two i will see the lbs fall off!

Good luck and keep going!! x
