I mean kinda, yeah. I have endometriosis so if I'm not super careful about what I eat, I blow up like a balloon. On my periods, I gain five pounds (according to the scale) and then I'm fighting like hell to drop it. I haven't been able to push through the 126.4 mark and it's driving me crazy because I still have ten pounds to go. I'm told it could take even a year since I have such a small amount to lose. So yeah. I think as women we all kind of struggle with body dysmorphia because it is our culture to compare and NEVER feel as though we are doing well. I was just thinking about this the other day - it's okay to be succeeding and the pace doesn't really matter?

My body dysmorphia made me think I was really overweight but not obese. And never have been either. That is a helluva trick to play on oneself.
