I was invited by friends to visit Finca Antigua ( ancient farm) to experience the organic farm run by two retired Costa Rican teachers.
In this photo, I am sampling raw sugar cane....it is very fibrous.12 -

I love sugar cane! Need to visit Durban so I can get some again.
As long as I don't use another pass, I'm a winner! Should be able to do that.
The scale claims I'm 1.3kgs heavier today than yesterday, but I'm guessing that means my muscles are holding extra water after working so hard yesterday.7 -

I think I missed some days that I did not check in, even though I did all the 3x Yes. Therefore no circle for me.

Ran for 30 minutes today without any walking! I think that's First for me since kidney donation. Slow, but still a run.
Also had rehab session and physio very happy with progress. Kids class this afternoon. Such fun to help the next generation learn this beautiful art.
Surprised I didn't wake up with more muscle stiffness after rolling yesterday, but not complaining about it.
Food choices not ideal but within limits. I got paid to help my friend at church with admin stuff in left over lindt balls...
Still on track for that circle.6 -
Gained weight today, but I expected too. Going to have a healthy Thanksgiving dinner tomorrow: turkey Thai meatballs! Exercised.5

Exercise: Yes, 25 minutes swimming, energetic breast stroke, and lots of walking, well over an hour. Got the kids' St Nicholas presents wrapped and sent off.
Calories: on the dot, but without using any of my exercise calories, about 600!
Tracking: Yes, logged everything.
Finished the active part of the day with a trip to the cinema.
Now sprawled on the sofa with a well-earned 10 cl of Bordeaux and 40g of Tomme de Savoie cheese...5 -

Hi all, I've been quiet for a few days. I was busy traveling for work. But I still was thinking of the team and did my best within reason, given the fact that I went to Crèpe country. And crêpes are definitely some of my favorite food 🙂
I've walked as much as time allowed, ate consciously and tracked as well as I could. Did go over a few days, but within reason. And got to create quality connections with my new work team.
I got back last night and weighed in this morning to a happy number. I'm now down a total of 15 lbs. I'm very excited about that.
I'm out of the winners circle but definitely feel like a winner being part of this group. Signed up for the month of December. It's definitely going to be a tricky one but I'm up for the challenge!
@RangerRickL beautiful shots. I was in Costa Rica a few years ago. Your pictures are bringing up fond memories.
@Chinkiri where do you live? You seem to be traveling quite a bit in Southern France. I live in Barcelona right now but grew up in Paris.6 -

Hard day. Just got back from vacation and I’m sick not sure if I’ll make the next few days.
Found out this morning my trainer is quitting in a couple days with no replacement. I’m devastated ;(
If anyone has any weight lifting references, would appreciate it!

3x’s yes. Strength this morning and two hours of workouts this evening-TRX, Step and more strength. I am feeling it!!! Tomorrow our gym is having a big Turkey day workout in the morning, I’m looking forward to it. Really good on calories today and everything logged.

Did I exercise for at least 20 minutes? Yes, 1 1/2 hours cleaning and a 20 minute walk outside in the village only to turn around because of the rain. Beats snow, though!

Looking forward to tomorrow which will be pass day #2 for me. No calorie counting or tracking anticipated for tomorrow. Planning on WC for the moment @RangerRickL .2 -

My wife and I are doing something new in the morning. We are participating in the Thanksgiving Day run/walk at the YMCA. Should be interesting as I am working tonight and will be going in with no sleep. Temps are probably going to be in the mid 30s so I doubt I will have trouble staying awake. Just hope the wind settles down. I think the waves out on the lake here are 12’ or better now. Happy Thanksgiving to all who observe and to everyone else let’s finish strong in the last few days of November .
I should make the WC as I have only used 2 pass days so far.

hm, i'm thinking pass? well actually yea it's a pass cuz i didn't track my food. i've been so busy preparing thanksgiving meals (and succeeded!) that i never set time for myself to eat a proper meal, just lived off caffeine and water and then had a small plate of leftovers mom brought home and the sweet potato skins (w/ oil on them) leftover from makign sweet potato casserole and then for dinner i made hash and homemade dinner rolls with butter so i may or may not be over my calorie goal but im feeling too tired & overwhelmed right now to figure out how to log all that lol.
was super active today though, on my feet most of the day since 9am (with frequent but short breaks) and definitely snuck in an upper body workout from rolling out pie dough and handkneading bread dough
