Have a great day!!
Here is an NSV with an important insight. When you focus on intense exercise and strength, do not expect to see the scale go down. You are building healthy fat-burning muscle.
@lalabank posted, "All of my victories are not related to my scale (which is mocking me lately). My muscles are becoming more defined. I think it’s a victory for me that I’m genuinely feeling a separation from my scale number. I weigh every day but my focus is really moving towards fitness goals. After being so focused on losing numbers it’s taking time to shift my emotions away from the scale. I still have some long term scale numbers in mind but it’s a secondary goal."
Now that is a Non-Scale-Victory to celebrate!!

Tried to post this morning and hit done instead of post so it disappeared. That button is horrible!
As good as my pass day is good my emotional wellbeing, I need to be more selective in what treats I have. I slept badly, woke up with reflux and my run was mostly a walk with my heart rate high and my asthma interfering. It was not fun.
I then stopped at work to look after my giant puppy and meet the newest one, before heading to church. I was adopted as the favourite by our youth pastor's eldest who wouldn't even let me leave but wrapped herself around my leg. She's 5 and adorable!
After a healthy lunch I did a bunch of meal prep and admin for the week. Might go to church with my house mate tonight, or stay in Reading.
Ready for a good week!9 -
@Dory_42 completely agree - the done button is the worst!! I click it all the time in error. Ugh!
Hope you have a great week after all your hard work prepping!! I find it helpful to plan meals in advance too.2 -
Exercise: Yes. Walked to see a friend's Indian Dance and Storytelling show, really good, then to the cinema and back to see a wonderful Indian film, all about food! Luckily it was 11pm already when I got back, or I would have been tempted to start cooking and eating. Had a sugar free organic peanutbutter sandwich instead, on rye bread .... Well, yes ...
Calories: Stayed under, even with the sandwich.
Tracking: Yes, logged everything.4 -

Did I exercise for at least 20 minutes? Yes, a dog walk and second longer walk for myself. I'm trying to work on my stamina and increase my speed.
Did I stay within my calorie budget for the day? Yes, well under. I was interested in the comments @Impala007 made about his improved bloodwork because of intermittent fasting, so I'm going to run an experiment to see if fasting improves mine over time (my window for eating will be between noon and 8:00 p;m.)
Did I keep track of everything I ate and drank? Yes

Haven’t posted in a few days. Congrats to all for the NSVs. It’s very nice to see all the positivity and inspiration.
I’ve been doing ok. Took another pass day on Friday. I went dancing until 7am 😱. I did get my exercise in but it didn’t offset the drinks. It was a great fun evening though. Totally worth it. I’ve stopped counting my pass days for the months. There are many. But they are still better than if I was not paying attention at all!
Yesterday was ok given the lack of sleep. I ate well and ran some errands in my bike.
Today, I woke up bright and early for an organized 50km bike ride along the coast. It’s awesome not to have to worry about cars on events :-). It was chilly though, I thought my toes could fall off at one point. I got to get some better winter riding gear. Ate healthy and within my calories.
Hope you all had a fantastic Sunday!4 -

Did I exercise for at least 20 minutes?
Today I ran my first-ever Spartan Sprint with my husband. Took us about 2 hours to complete -- it's basically a 4 mile trail run up and down huge hills and some of the rockiest, pot-holed terrain I've ever seen (they call our city's course the Ankle Breaker for a reason) with about 15 obstacles, from carrying 40 lb sandbags up and down a 1/2 mile hill, walls to climb over, cargo nets -- it was insane.
Although I'm late to the NSV party, I can say 5 years ago at my heaviest and out-of-shape I wouldn't have even made it past the first obstacle. Today I didn't do nearly as well as I wanted to (my grip strength and arms crapped out on me, and my knees were killing me from the hills, so I had to skip a few of the obstacles), and I feel completely defeated. The only thing keeping me the slightest bit happy is knowing I wouldn't have been able to do this at all just a few years ago.
And it has made me even more determined to lose the pounds I've put on, run faster, lift more, and keep getting stronger. Who knows -- maybe I'll be able to do it all next year. We'll see.

yes, yes, yesI climbed up to the guardrail today.
Geesh I have done that climb hundreds of times.
I told a guy the other day 265 but I can't find how I got that number.
I think it is way more than that.
I ain't getting any faster though.
Record time for me 84 minutes. These days like 110. Almost 2 hours.
Had the place to myself this morning.
Found somebody's cell phone.
It had charge when I first found it.
Now it doesn't. I don't have the kind of plug to charge it. Thought about trying to find the owner.

Exercise was biking to church. Afterward went to the grocery store and found a 7lb chicken on sale for $7 (sell by by date was today) so bought it, broke it down, cooked the drumsticks for tonight's dinner, saved a breast for tomorrow (taco night), made stock with the back, and froze the rest!3
