ugh so today's exercise really proved to me i got some work to do to get back to where i was.
why am i so sleepy trying to exercise? and why do i burn out so quickly? i did like 10 minutes of a 40min cardio video, then 20minutes of a 40minute yoga video after giving up on the cardio. it was still a decent workout but i was wiped out.
i think my goal at the moment should be less about losing weight and more about gaining back strength/energy/muscles.
i don't want to let my weaknesses get in the way!
This is where I am as well. I find I have a good few days and am able to push hard but then I crash and need to take a few days off to recover. Need to find the balance of pushing hard enough to challenge me, but not over do it and get over fatigued. It's a challenge as that zone constantly changes. My body is also reacting differently to what I'm used to because of my months out of training and the big change of dropping a kidney. I keep reminding myself that I'm improving, even if it's slow.
Today was a treat day and food choices were not ideal but they were around my upper limit for calories so I'm taking it as a win. I did my physio in the evening which is also a win as I'm normally unable to convince myself to exercise once I'm home for the evening.6 -

Thanks @fitqueenbess, @RangerRickL and @Chinkiri I dropped almost 3 pounds this week, out of nowhere, and reached "normal." I've never lost that much before at once. I've upped my exercise after weeks of almost no activity while I recovered from an injury. Who knows why, but I'll take it!

Exercised - yes! Lots of walking around a family fun park. Fun on Go Karts and rides!
Calories - yes! Ate lunch before family outing and has a simple caesar with dressing on the side at a steakhouse. Avoided pizza later and had dinner when I got home. It, s amazing when I get back on track I have no interest or craving for sweets and junk. I do enjoy my after lunch ghirardelli chocolate and my yogurt topped with granola, fruit, and whipped cream.

Yes, yes, yes...Got 2 thousand of climb. Still a shade behind schedule for my monthly goal.
Slightly above freezing starting a little after daybreak.
Supposed to be cold cold tomorrow. Like 17 degrees.
Got two dentist appointment this week. That will put me further back on my climb goal.
I seen the wild horses this morning. They got a new foal in that pack since I seen them last. Maybe herd is what you call them. But that is a self sustaining population. Foal and a couple of ponies or yearlings. I am a little off on my horse lingo.
Took a picture of my canyon. Louis LaMoure would say "check your back trail."
This is a view back down my back trail. Coming out of that shade in a bit.
Had the place mostly to myself. Maybe 3 motor vehicles there in the 2 and a half hours I was there.2 -

@MadisonMolly2017 That graphic speaks volumes of truth. I stretch my comfort zone, but I rarely, if ever, just take a great big leap into the 'great beyond."
I really appreciate you!!

@RangerRickL
There’s still time!!! 🤣
Seriously, I think one person’s stretch is another’s” great beyond. For ex: after 2 bad experiences with horses (and with skis), doing either again would be a great beyond for me...but you & Rose, I believe, Rose all the time!!
And yes, I *really* appreciate you, too! 💪🏻🙏🏻😄🌈0
