Shelley, good job on the weight and I bet the doughnut didn't affect your new number. I don't bake...I barely cook any more. I am a lazy retired gray-hair!!! I did find gingerbread man cookies, but we forgot to show them to Ronan the next day. Guess it was because he was the evil villain Romeo who was after the Paw Patrol. :#

138.0 this morning at 7:30...I love sleeping in!! We haven't walked today. Maybe this afternoon. We are having our windows washed and they are still finishing up.

Had xrays on my knees and hips yesterday. May have to have surgery on my left hip. We'll hear what the doc has to say on Monday. The funny thing is the xrays show my right knee has osteoarthritis and is worse than my left, BUT my right knee doesn't give me any problems where my left knee does. Crazy knees!!!

Well if that ones does not fit don't let them touch it. I hope they don't have to do surgery on your shoulder. I wish I could have slept in this morning.

137.6 this morning at 8:00. Sleepin' in and no walking this morning. Maybe later.

I'm thinking, once the left hip is fixed the left knee will be okay. Maybe...

Pat has had both his hips replaced and felt much better once they were done. We'll see tomorrow.

Chris - keep us posted on the hip! Hubby had both replaced...so glad he did.

Nice to hear such good things about him replacements ladies. Never know when it could be you next.

Chris that would be great if your knee did feel better after surgery on the hip. Pat had them both done. Wow. Looks like you lost some. <3

Took the kids to the park walking. And did a Body Pump class.

139.0 at 5:30 this morning. Sleeping in until 8:00 did make a nice number. **sigh**

I see my doc today. I will keep you posted.

Had a good day here in Canada for work and ate very well! Hoping for another really good eating day today. Unfortunately not able to exercise...been working from early morning to late, but think tonight may be able to go to the hotel gym after a team outing if I get backed early enough!

Chris I am holding my breath for you. Hope it goes well. I have next week off. I will be sleeping in also. <3

Karen if you keep your calories low it will work. Missing workouts is depressing though. Hope you were able to get it in.

Great day at work. Our lieutenant cried when we have her out gifts.

Hey Shelley -Yes I’ve been a very good about keeping calories low. Easier with no snacks around lol! Hoping to have lost a pound or 2 by the end of the week.

Not really looking forward to all of the holiday good. Delicious for sure, but I’m at the weight I was 18 months ago...so don’t want to derail that. How are you ladies approaching Thanksgiving?

Doc is referring me to the hip surgeons. My knee should get better when it's fixed. Keep your fingers crossed when you don't need them for something else...like eating or spreading pb on buttered sourdough toast.

We have been invited to our SIL's mom's place for dinner. She is a fabulous cook, but I will only have a little of everything. Pretty sure everything will be very salty. We don't drink anymore, so that's not a problem.

Not sure what we are doing for Christmas. DDD & SIL have friends and his family that they divide their day with. I think we celebrated together on the 26th last year.

Karen that is great. You are really inspiring. I am just going to enjoy the meal. A little of anything I want. An early high calorie burning workout that morning though. I have the week off and plan on working out everyday to help. I refuse to give up everything for the almighty scale number. But not to crazy. ;)

Chris I am getting out my purple taser if you don't leave that peanut butter alone! Muahaha I actually lived on it on toast in high school. That was my breakfast. No lunch and a small dinner. Weighed about 110 pounds.

Hoping to get in a lot of steps tomorrow.

188.2 this morning. I’ve been so busy. My mom injured her back and groin lifting a case of water she has no business lifting. She’s 83 but thinks she’s 43. :D I’ll be hosting Thanksgiving so she can stay off her feet. I’ve been catching up on housework so I can try to start the home updates after the holiday. Exercise has gone out the window. I’m surprised my weight isn’t up more. I need to catch up on your posts. I hope everyone is doing well.

Chris - wishing you well with the hip surgeons.

Karen - I’m with you on the holidays and trying to reach goals. Since I’m cooking Thanksgiving I usually don’t eat as much. because of tasting throughout the day.

Shelley - congrats on the camper and keep going with the classes. I’m going to get back to exercise today. Still want to hit my goal of 179 by Christmas!

Happy Thanksgiving ladies!!! I may be too busy to post this week.

Kathy - sorry to hear about your Mom :( Hope she feels better and hope you don’t get too exhausted!

My siblings and I took my Mom out to dinner in Philadelphia to celebrate her one year of quitting smoking (after 55 years). Not sure if you ever watch A Taste of History with Chef Walter Staib, but we went to his restaurant City Tavern. Lickily he was there and Mom got to meet him. She was thrilled! Attaching a few photos. I did a good job with the eating!!kib8h44d867i.jpeg

    Great pictures, Karen!

142.0 this morning at 7:30. Having a bit of trouble with pb and grahams. It'll be okay. I guess I always get this way in October and November. Nick has been gone nine years. His birthday is this Friday. Cancer sucks.

Chris - this is such a tough time of year. Food everywhere. Rushed for time. Missing loved ones we have lost. Hope memories of Nick make you smile ;)
Busy day for me....didn't get to the gym this morning, but just teed up the idea for a walk with the fam..let's see!

Thanks, Karen. Yes, thoughts and memories of him always make me smile.

No walking this morning. Got to workout w/Sara this morning. It was so much fun. I miss working out with her. I hope we get to do more of it this summer.

Kathy so sorry about your mom. But if she wanted you to do all the festivities she should have just told you. After all you are the daughter and would have listened! My mom is always doing more than she should also. You made me laugh with the tasting.

Karen love the photo's. Would like to see the bench.

Chris sending you hugs. And a kick in the butt. Time to hug your family. Smile and kiss your grandson. Tomorrow is time enough for flowers and a visit to Nick. I wish I was there with you. My brother Doug has been gone over 25 years. To young.

I had a great day. Ate to much. We get Barney back tomorrow

Hope everybody had a great Thanksgiving :-) I ate a little too much as well :-) back on my game today. My mom and sister and daughter are all going out black Friday shopping with me here at seven this morning. So that’s always a fun activity that we do together. Hope to get lots of steps and walking around the mall! Anybody else shopping?

Took my Mom, Sister and Bella shopping this Black Friday. Since Mom and Sis have canes, Belle and I were on bag duty back to the car. More steps. So I was in ;) We had fun. It has been a good few days ;)

I am not a big fan of shopping in crowds.. But we did go to Pet Smart for some new dog coats for Libby and Barney. A new crate for Barney in the living room. Lots of treats and toys. $200 later he kids are set for awhile.

Karen I am happy for you getting out. I can understand the excitement of getting great deals while spending time with family. If someone with experience at it took me I would probably have a blast. As long as I could take both my glocks. Paranoid, just a bit. Muahaha

Back at losing some weight.Hahaha. I did make cinnamon rolls today, hangs head. Barney is home! :):drinker:

Stepped on the scale this morning. Yikes! Going to pretend that's not the number I see LOL! Back on track today ladies.

We did get our tree up last night and will decorate it today and do the rest of the decorations for the house. Just too tired to do it last night.

I'm going to make some turkey soup today. My Aunt Arlene is such an amazing soup maker and she's been giving me Bunches of tips on how to make great soup. I did the turkey carcass in the Crock-Pot overnight and oh my goodness my house smells amazing :-) she swears by bone broth! Looking forward to having some of that soup and eating a bit lighter over the next few days.

I made chicken, bean, sweet potato soup yesterday. I just winged it and just hoped it turned out okay. It turned out pretty good. Gave four servings to Sara. Going to have it for dinner. It should be better today. We'll see. Shopped w/Sara yesterday. We had fun. Spent a lot of $$, but it's Christmas time.

Hi ladies, hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving. Time to get back on track. I see we’re all on the soup course. I made a fall vegetable soup which will last for several days. There’s nothing like the smell of the house when soup is cooking. I’m still trying to reach my goal of 179 by Christmas Day. Let’s do this!

We need a December post unless I’m missing it.

    Let’s have a good month!
