    @Bill70s Rest days are important. Good that you took one.
    @Chinkiri I loved your description of the Christmas meal -- fortunately, it turned out to be not as good.
    @RangerRickL Sorry you have back problems. Hope the appt today is helpful.

    Did I exercise for at least 20 minutes? Yes, about 90 minutes. I took the day off from work, and planned a longer walk in the cold, but my enployer called and asked me to come in, so that was the end of that. Sigh.

    Hello all!

    Lots of food around me today.
    As predicted, I went over my daily goal (by 226 calories) today.
    Calories earned with exercise today: 404 cal.
    Net +178 calories.
    I have not eaten all the exercise calories I banked all week.

    Yes, x 3.
    Passes: 3
    Have a successful day all!

    @Christine4695 Dearest Christine,
    Your father and family are your highest priority. The UAC and other goals are insignificant at a time like this.
    Best wishes, Rick

    Pass day for me:
    3 hours with the exercise physiologist. She is licensed in massage therapy; personal training; and certified by a number of different organizations. Her focus is functional movement. She gave me a book entitled "Treat Your Own Back" by the late Robert McKenzie, of New Zealand. His McKenzie Method is distinctively different than chiropractic in that his focus is on helping the patient to commit to stretching exercises that will get the fascia and muscles to be prepared for movement. By actively focusing on specific exercises, the body will move fluidly when it is asked to exert.
    Tomorrow, I'll be back at the chiropractor for a follow up adjustment. I will be reading the McKenzie book tonight.

    @craigo3154 I am going to save your post of today in my "Great Posts of the UAC' archive. Thanks, Rick
