Restaurants

Is there a way to access nutrition/calories in restaurants?

It depends on which restaurant you’re in. Some have calories listed on the menu, some have it on their website. You’re more likely to find the information if you’re eating in a big chain restaurant. The smaller ones don’t usually have anyone to work out the calories in every recipe.

Yeah, if I am eating at a small restaurant, and I order something like, say, eggplant parmigiana, I use a bigger chain like Olive Garden or Maggiano's as a starting point, but then I adjust based on portion size and/or oil content (the local independent Italian restaurant uses way less oil than most chains, for example). It's always a bit of a guess but I only eat out once or twice a week.
