Doubled the LTL thread so had to delete and put something in this spot. So thought I'd start a thoughts about December and the last month of the year.

I was thinking I had a few thoughts for December to share. If anyone wants to join the conversation feel free to jump in.
Future, past, goals for 2020, anything you share could be something that could help others in their journey.0 -
I started out this quarter October 1st with lots of pressure from work and personal issues and had not been focusing on my weight control. Consequently by 10/4 I found myself sick with an upper respiratory infection in urgent care and my highest weight 359.6 in many years even though I was suppose to be following the plan. (Just shows me that focus is paramount.) I began to have shortness of breath frequently like just walking from house to car all level. Also sometimes just walking fro bedroom to kitchen. This made me get serious real quick about losing weight. So I have dropped 23.4 lbs since 10/4 and have been to my MD and as of 11/27 a battery of Cardiologist test. Too soon to know anything yet on the test. However I feel a lot better.
So moving forward I'm concentrating on staying on plan everyday and possibly every meal. I do have a goal that's pretty aggressive at 1.5-2.0 lbs per week but will keep pushing onward even if I don't hit. I really am doing everything I can to accomplish this goal such as seeing a Nutritionist and a phycotherapist.
So far for 8 WI's or 8 Fridays I'm a little ahead of goal but in the big scheme of things this is a drop in the bucket.
There I got a few things off my chest. I think I feel better.😄🎅

Good for you, Derrick! Keep up the good work and eventually it'll all become habit and second nature.
I've got a lot of stuff going on in my life, and much of it has been stressful. I continue to want to take off ~10 pounds but I haven't really been keeping up with things well. I keep letting some of the bad habits come back, and then I feel guilty every morning when I get on the scale. I know it's not a useful cycle to be in and I'm struggling to break out of it. Of course, that adds to the stress!1 -
You are making great progress Derrick!
This has been one of the most stressful fall semesters in a long time for me. Toss in having to deal with relocating stuff/decluttering/renovating our rental property and I'm pretty much exhausted at the end of each day. At least I keep tracking even though I keep going over my budget. Scale is a few pounds up from the start of this semester and I know why but have no mental energy to properly deal with it.
There are some things in the works to change my job responsibilities since a colleague is retiring. But nothing has firmed up yet so it probably will be at least another couple of months of craziness.1
