Induction Questions

Yesterday I picked up some sugar free popsicles and had some. When I went to log them in I discovered they were 4 carbs each. Ouch! I went over my 20 carbs by 10 carbs. Yesterday ended my first week on induction. I shouldn't have to start over as long as I am still in ketosis should I?

I actually wouldn't worry too much about it, yet...

Here's the catch: the carbs come from "sugar alcohols", which many people don't digest and therefore don't count.

Some people may absorb a little, and others may simply get gas and nothing else.

I am a sugar-free popsicle fiend, and routinely eat four in a night with no worries about kicking myself out of ketosis. I think you've got nothing to worry about, and no, I don't think you'll need to start over.

However, everyone is different, and if it is making you worry then you might want to avoid them during the Induction phase.

    Good luck!

Well only two of the four carbs are from sugar alcohols so be careful.
