13 Weeks in - 46.2 lbs lost

As a computer guy - I love tracking things. The scale can be fickle. You can eat and exercise according to plan, but not have it show up on the scale. Salt intake, water retention and many other factors can lead to the scale driving you crazy. Well at least it drives me crazy sometimes. ;) I use my average weight loss over time to get a better feel for how I am doing. Below is my chart.

3 out of the 13 weeks I actually gained weight. On those weeks I had the same calories in and exercise calories out. Those weeks are mentally brutal. I think this chart helps me keep it all in perspective.

    You are doing great...I read your food diary and I am amazed by what you eat!....it’s working for you so stay at it!....my weight has been all over the place the past week!...drives me nuts!
