Week 2

Weighed in this morning and for some reason I was 2 lbs heavier. Its probably water retention grr, anyways I am still eating clean 90% of the time. I had a piece of cake and a burger last week because I was out all day with family. I also worked out 4 times a week and remained active on the days I couldn't make it to the gym. How is everyone else doing?

Bummer, I was two pounds more too, but know for a fact it's retention. Went to a catfish place and ordered the catfish special (which I really don't like) so sat and nibbled on hush puppies while everyone else ate fish and beans. Should have just got a salad. Still not drinking enough water but it's getting better. This week I vow to exercise every day. Water aerobics M,W,F and I'll walk 4 miles the other days.0

Hello week 2! Today was the first day I did 2 sets of the back on pointe daily workout...and it felt great! Week 2 of weights starts tonight too! I haven't seen much movement on the scale lately and was perusing the posts for inspiration when I came across this one:

I'm pretty sure I won't be losing 50 lbs and replacing all the weight with muscle, but it is reassuring to realize that a lot can be going on with the composition and shape of my body even when the scale doesn't measure it. I've got to keep in mind that I'm not going to snap my fingers and see the results I'm looking forward to, but every day I stay on track the closer I get!
Enjoy week 2 everyone0 -
