Hello Monday!!
I went searching for an image to capture the idea that we have to visualize a goal so that it can be embraced by our subconscious as a reality. I have experienced that concept to be factually true.
This one made me smile!

High humidity today. Returned from walk looking like I had been swimming (just perspiration).
Wife is doing a mental health first aid course (classroom based). This is to help our daughter (and probably me).
I need to go into a client in the city tomorrow (so early start and potentially late finish).10 -
Bare minimum exercise today, walking around Ho Chi Minh city airport waiting for my next flight up to Da Nang. Walked for 40 mins, stopped for a drink, maybe go do some more before boarding starts ! Meals & drinks all way under budget and logged etc!12

Yes to all 3. I tried detoxing today to compensate for my weekend, but didn't manage to stay on a complete liquid diet. All that extra green tea did help me stop having the munchies tho and stay away from gluten, so that's something.8

The crazy thing is MFP indicated if I have the same day for the next 5 weeks I would hit my goal. But we all know those predictions are interesting but who really can do the same exact thing every day for 5 weeks. And how boring it would be?

Got it all done! A couple walks @ 30 minutes a piece and over an hour Box VR. Came in at a couple hundred under my calorie goal and logged it all. 🥊🥊🥊4

I am flying on Wednesday and Saturday this week and Saturday and Sunday next week. In the past, I have had a hard time staying on track when flying. Last month I walked around the airport from the time I went through security until I boarded. My plan is to do the same thing. I also plan to bring a sandwich and snack. I WILL NOT GO TO THE BAR/RESTAURANT NEAREST MY GATE!! I WILL NOT GET A THICK WHIPPED CREAMY HUGE CUP OF COFFEE!!8 -

Sooooo, fighting vertigo again but managed, in between dizzy spells, to work on Hip PT and a bit of strength training for 30 minutes. I'm getting pretty frustrated because I've had to cut way back on calories to maintain my weight loss and there are actually times when I wake up during the night and I'm hungry..........haven't had that feeling in a long time.
Hopefully, this week's appointment with PT and them doing the Epley Maneuver will do the trick. I read an article today about Huey Lewis (And The News) who is suffering from Meniere's disease and I felt so bad for him. I don't have the same illness, even though we both have vertigo, and so I'm trying to count my lucky stars while I feel empathetic for him and others suffering from that. I totally get it!

So I was backed in a corner today.... I was attacked by Greek food (gyros meat and chicken) followed by a bar of Hershey's Chocolate with almonds 210 calories. Then I had to add a square of Ghirardelli (70 calories of the bad kind of chocolate).
I got out of this hole by eating a light dinner and then I ran for an hour. I don't think I'll be doing that again.
YES! YES! YES! On budget! Tomorrow is another day!

Rick, this is interesting. I often write out my goals (and think about them) but I am not sure how much I have visualized them. I plan to give this some thought and attention.4 -
