It's the end of the third week. How did it go?

I missed my goal for strength workouts (3/4 days), but still haven't run at all (goal was three short runs). I hate running. Guess that is not going to change. I haven't run a single time this month. I would go, but it seems like a horrible streak to ruin.

Scale still a bit wonky. Every measurement was below the first of the year's measurement, which is good, it means the average is trending downwards. Still, who knows what it will be by the end of the month.

What about everyone else?

I'm 80%-90% carnivore. I really enjoy it. I have no desire to stop this. I don't drink my calories so no half and half or cream. I will add back for maintenance if I ever get there. I do have sour cream to mix with canned fish in water. Eating plenty of protein every day makes my muscle mass very good with minimal exercise. If I do exercise I try to lift as heavy as I can with dumbbells.

I am trying to compile a list of what I ate last week, but I fear it might be hopelessly inaccurate. Which is crazy because I consider my diet pretty boring.

The following is pretty close to my week
    ---
3-4 pounds of top round, sliced and fried
2 sticks of butter (consumed throughout the week)
4-5 pounds of 75/25 ground beef
    3 eggs
    10 ounces of cheese
    10 ounces of homemade jerky
    7 ounces of cream
    1 bag of pork rinds
    1 pound of mussels
    1 pound of ribeye
    7 ounces of sirloin
Chick-fil-A grilled nuggets (23 of them) -- not ideal but we were eating out
    1 pound of bacon

Nice list. Ground beef and pork sausage will save me some money instead of steaks so much. I recently found out I love mussels in garlic butter sauce. They are high in chromium too which is not in a lot of foods. I eat too much cheese, Swiss, cheddar, Monterrey jack, and Colby jack. I bought brats even though they are full of preservatives and flavor enhancers. I bought 8 lbs of sour cream because I can and it goes with everything. Ribeyes and Strip steaks are getting low but I didn't want to spend too much. I bought one kefir because I know it's more milk sugar but it makes me feel good from the probiotics.

You can say the diet is boring but it's the foods I never get sick of. Eggs and bacon or sausage for breakfast? Every day is fine. Steak every 3 days? yes, please.

My plant foods are down to: avocados, lemon and lime juice, red cabbage (for wraps), and onions (extra flavor). I also have canned olives and asparagus from a while ago that I need to consume.

I thought I was coming down with the flu but it's been so mild I can't believe it. I had pan fried kielbasa, a whole link and sour cream and 2 cans of sardines in water tonight. I'm so full. I also take vitamin c, d3, and k2 when feeling sick.

I love fast food a little too much but only have it once or twice a month. Usually a burger or chicken nuggets

I’m late checking in for week 3 because I’ve been studying for final exams but it went a lot better than I expected. I stuck with my new rule of if I want it I eat it and surprised myself by still eating mostly meat and eggs.

I also ate less dairy but was still eating some every day, mostly in the form of yogurt and milk. So I suspect I have a limit with dairy and wonder if maybe cheese is more of a digestive irritant than I thought. Ongoing experiment with dairy is needed, I need to get back into tracking my food again as that also went by the wayside due to study. There have been some plants but not nearly as many as I thought I would end up eating and no grains which is a first for me.

I will see how the top round fried in bacon grease is. I don’t like eggs in bacon grease much anymore not sure why but it makes me nauseous. I’m dropping the plant foods for a while and doing carnivore with only coffee and tea for plant foods.
