@clepant - it's definitely better than what I left. Slower pace, everyone is nice and I'm finding that weird Friday is a half day, mornings only, but as the lead RN I'm stuck with a lead RN meeting every second Friday of the month and it involves driving to the hospital twenty miles away. I'm not happy with that but they do pay for mileage from office to hospital one way. I do enjoy the 7-12 min drive from the office I've been assigned to. Right now I"m learning the day to day patient stuff, so it involves traveling to the other two offices as well. Definitely enjoying using less gas. My goal is to get vested in their 403b, it's only three years versus the usual five, I'm putting in the most they'll do a match for. Nursing is not what I want to do anymore, but gotta go where the money is.
3 miles on the treadmill this morning

@kar328: I am glad your job seems to be better. Nursing sounds pretty much like what the teaching profession has become.I loved teaching kids but all the stuff they kept dumping on us made the scales tip. I still get to do things with kids but I am no longer under the stress and demands of my job. I would go to work at 7 am and often come home at 6:30 or 7pm. Tend to my dad and house chores, then stay up till midnight or later doing more school work and getting up at 5:45 am. It was burning me out fast.
Feb. 22: Adding 11.75 miles of cycling 11.75 miles and 1 Mike walking
