C25K worked for me @SheilaCali though I had to repeat some weeks. Stretching and warming up is very important, the one time I didn't I got injured and it cost me three weeks out.

Hi all, this month is my one year anniversary of being in this group. This time last year I was class 3 obese, weighed 119.5kg (263.5 lbs), had insulin resistance, a sluggish thyroid, and was an epic snorer. You may have noticed: all in the past tense. In January 2020 I reached my healthy goal weight, my health issues have all reversed over the past year, and now I am trying to maintain my weight around 65kg (143 lbs).

For this reason I am not technically "in" the challenge anymore, but am staying in the group to keep myself accountable and on track - and cheer you all on in your journey.

I'm Australian, and mum to a 14 yr old.

    My stats:
    169cm / 5'7'
    41 years
    Highest Weight: 119.5kg/263.5lbs (27th January 2019)
    Goal Weight: 65 kg/143 lbs (6th January 2020)

Today I bought my first Fitbit (a Charge 3) as a reward for hitting my goal weight. Am setting it up now :)

Congratulation!! Phenomenal weight loss in one year!! You are a great inspiration to all of us!! <3

Good morning everyone, we've made it to hump day!

Hows feb week one going for everyone?

I know I'm eating a bit strangely this week, but, am much more on it than last week, I think! Trying to get into an every other day running habit, and NEED to reintroduce strength training, but I'll get there!

Steps are way down so far this week, but my feet and brain needed a bit of a break so I listened and gave them that.

    @boehle gorgeous hair!

@guitargirl55 welcome back, so close to goal, exciting!

Good for you taking a break when your body asks for it! You can lighten up a bit now and then and still keep it moving!

I'm doing okay. I am dealing with some silly argument between my boyfriend and my best friend (I thought by age 27, I would be done with this kind of high school drama lol), so I am a little stressed.

Stress usually makes me eat more, but I am trying to keep myself in check. So far so good!

I stayed the same, but that's ok...I was fighting a migraine for the second week in a row so I was quite nauseous and had more carbs to curb it plus drinking water just does not appeal to me @ that time...hopefully, this week will be better

I can get you my steps for all of January.... do you prefer them on here, or would it be easier if I messaged you?

    Thanks!
