We meet here to explore, share, celebrate and (sometimes) agonize over how we do (or don't) incorporate weight loss guidelines into our daily lives. "It's a lifestyle, not a diet" is easily and often said, but sometimes not so simply put into practice.nn

This is a thread for everyone. If you're new to GoaD, or to weight loss, your questions and comments are always welcome. If you're maintaining, or a long-term loser, your thoughts on the topic may be just what someone else needs to hear. If you're reading this, join in the discussion!

Each weekday, a new topic is offered up for discussion.

Monday-imastar 2 (Derrick)
Tuesday- myallforjcbill (Bill)
Wednesday- Podkey (Bob)
Thursday-Jimb376mfp (Jim)
Friday-misterhub (Greg)

Topic: Post Super Bowl Results (Not 54 SB results) but your WW results. It's also a new month.
Were you able to hold the line? (No pun intended) .
Or did you go All In and Splurge!
Did your Team Win?

Did not really care which team won in this years game, I would have been happy for the fans of either city. As for my results, I was so good up until 1 week before the game and then binged for 6 strait days, hopefully I am now back on track and can resume a healthy diet and lifestyle even though we are away for 2 weeks

I was pretty good. I have been on a losing streak, and it showed up again this morning. Mostly, I noticed, I just didn't want to overdo it. That is, I had to show very little restraint because I just wasn't wanting a lot of typical party fare.

There was a football game yesterday? :o

I rode my bike 100 miles and enjoyed the sunshine which our area hasn't had in way too long. Then I went to bed.

Didn't watch the game either. Did watch Picard episode 2, and another episode of Star Trek Discovery, had some beers, and came out of this weekend lower than last weekend, Always a good thing.

I will never forget SB LIV
I was in hospital and I asked DW to bring me. Subway sandwich and some popcorn.
But...the nurse gave me magnesium citrate to drink for my bowels TMI!
I spent the game at the Super TOILET BOWL!

So no eating at SB game and plan to get on scale at home Thursday.

Happy Chiefs won! (Packer Fan here)

Well I did watch the game. I ate a late lunch which was reasonably within my points. Snacked on some ritz vegetable crackers with some salmon cream cheese. Didn't overdo it then had a deli roast beef sandwhich 2 oz and cheese called it an evening food wize. Stayed within my DP with 1 pt to spare.

I watched the game and was pulling for the Chiefs for a couple of reasons.
1 They haven't won the SB for 50 years.
2 The head coach Andy Reid had one of the winningest records of the NFL without winning a SB. So reason or not I thought it would be great to see the Team and him win the Lombardi Trophy.

A month of too much eating. I started a new fitness routine designed to improve my posture, and flexibility and add strength and muscle. It makes me a bit hungry.

Also I’m subject to retaining water on workout days and into the next. Needing to take my own advice about short term thinking. I hate taking my own advice.

GadgetGirlIL rocks it. I got in a ride to my WW meeting and went to neighbors for SB LIV. My DW is a Wisconsinite so would only care if Packers played but we enjoyed the game. I give myself a C+ rating in the eating category.

Didn't watch so I nailed it. My local team lost it at the end
