Recipes come 1st from a folder in my desk of successful favorites
second from the WW recipe search tool, third from other on line sites, and finally from cook books I have aquired over the years. As for other weight management idea's first will always be weekly meetings, but after that its an assortment of on line tools, MFP, Health Journal even AARP sometimes

A lot of my ideas come from doing my best to follow my nutritionist ideas but we only meet once a month. I am doing my best to follow ideas from choosemyplate.gov. I just don't take the time to get in the website as much as I'd like to but there's a wealth of information on that site.

I also peek at many of the recipes on MFP and WW's. Beyond that I get with DW because she does most of the cooking.

Since I'm paying for it I do my best to follow my nutritionist ideas for weight management. Right now due to my heart issue exercise is limited but hopefully after the valve replacement is done and I've healed I'll be able to start moving again.

I don't do a lot of recipe food per se. I am also pretty good at winging it. I keep staples on hand to fix. I have done some of the WW recipes on occasion. I feel I am pretty knowledgeable about nutrition. I mostly keep it pretty simple. I did get "wild and crazy" and add two small slivers of cave aged gruyere cheese to my veggie omelet this morning.
I have done other plans and schemes but the principles of WW is working for me.

I don't do a lot of recipes. I do cook quite frequently (more since retiring!); however, I sort of just "wing it" with things I'm familiar with. I have decided that I'm going to try some recipes I've seen on a Keto Facebook page. In fact, my plan is to try a new recipe once a week. I've gotten sort of into a rut with my food.

We tend to eat a lot of "standard-meals," though once in a while we add in some new things. My wife is the more active cook of the family, and I tend to come in for specialty-items. I don't really ever feel like we're in a rut, because I think the standard-list of meals tends to evolve over time.

I get recipes many places. WW and just Googling. Also have a ton in a folder on my computer.
I, mostly, wing it also, check temps for some things, proportions, alternative seasonings, etc.
We're boring also. Same thing for breakfast and lunch most of the time. Dinner, I need to look up my many chicken recipes. LOL

I missed checking the LTL thread yesterday. Well so much for my Tuesday topic!

Many new ones I get from NY Times Cooking, after taking a look to see if it is not nutritionally bankrupt. I still have a bunch of WW cookbooks. I use alot of old favorites like 10 Can Chili as well most of the time. On a good week I will try at least one new recipe. I got 2 cookbooks for Chrismas so I am looking for ideas in there.

I have a lot of meals that are just what I cook. But, I do get a lot of ideas from watching cooking videos on YouTube and the Food Network.

I should state that I don't often follow recipes exactly. I will use them as a general framework and augment them to my personal tastes. However, any sort of baking I follow the recipe exactly.

I also have a ton of cookbooks that I'll consult periodically.
