We meet here to explore, share, celebrate and (sometimes) agonize over how we do (or don't) incorporate weight loss guidelines into our daily lives. "It's a lifestyle, not a diet" is easily and often said, but sometimes not so simply put into practice.nn
This is a thread for everyone. If you're new to GoaD, or to weight loss, your questions and comments are always welcome. If you're maintaining, or a long-term loser, your thoughts on the topic may be just what someone else needs to hear. If you're reading this, join in the discussion!
Each weekday, a new topic is offered up for discussion.
Monday-imastar2 (Derrick)
Tuesday- misterhub (Greg)
Wednesday- Mamacin (Cindy)
Thursday- myallforjcbill (Bill)
Friday- 88olds (George)
Topic: May sound weird but are you happier or sad more any part of a day than another? and does this period of happiness help you with your LTL?

I seem to be more lethargic earlier In the am more mentally thinking about deeper emotional thoughts but generally happy. I'm probably happiest around the middle of the day when I'm about trying to get things done and moving through the to do list etc; This puts me in the frame of mind of getting things done. Then when evening rolls around I start naturally wanting to wind down and if I wait to long for dinner I may become to unhappy and moody. It's all about walking the fine line with emotions.0

I don't have a specific time of day that affects my mood. Some mornings I am slow, and my head is filled with brainfog. Other days, I pop right up and get going with no trouble. I don't even have (usually) the Sunday Night Blues, thinking about returning to work on Monday morning. Most of my moods are event driven. Although, I do check my hunger levels if I get crabby at midday. Of course, there are those days when I wake up, and everyone should just get out of my way. I usually lock myself up in my office or in my house on those days. ;-)

I'm probably happiest first thing in the morning. I enjoy going to the fitness center. Going to work afterwards, not as much.0
